It's a basic NFL rule. The two iffy calls to me were the roughing the passer, and not calling intentional grounding.

I just watched the game. I had to record it because I was at work.
ing bull . I really wanted Kurt to win this one. I think he was letdown by his team in 2001 especially that Rams defense which was awful. I always said if the Rams had a mediocre defense they would have won that Superbowl easily. Even a defense ranked 20th would have been enough. That Rams D was pretty much dead last in the NFL that season.
Today's game the freaking Cards defense wasn't that great either only for a stretch in the 4th quarter did the actually play well. They let the Steelers get too many big yardage plays. Ben played good and made the winning drive and I'm going to give him props for that last drive, but only that last drive. Kurt I thought had the better overall game. Same as in 2001 I think Kurt outplayed Brady. I will never say Brady outplayed Kurt straight up. Adam Vinatieri was a huge part of that win and should have been the MVP of that superbowl IMO.
Fitzgerald played his heart out even though that Steeler defense was focused on him hard that first half. So many errors by the Cardinals players.

After the Fitz TD late in the game I looked at the clock and noticed that was waay to much time to give Rothlisberger. I was almost hoping Fitz would had ran out of bounds at the 2 or something. They did that to us TWICE this year. Once at M&T with less time than that on the clock on the freakin 5 yard line. I was yelling at the TV to send the freakin house at the sucker. When I saw that they were only rushing four, I knew they were in trouble.

Screw the Steelers. I of course am a Dolphins fan. Even though the Cardinals are and will always be my second favorite team. I beleive that the NFL playoffs are rigged. I beleive that ever since 9/11. I mean the Patriots won that year. And then again in Super Bowl XL, I mean they really had to give Bettis his Super Bowl ring in his hometown. Now on to this year.... I am not racist but this makes a lot of sense... Black president. Black coach. I mean come on. They made it look like it was a fair game by making it close. Then the last play.... It wasnt a fumble, if you look closely he lost possession but regained it and got rid of the ball.. Incomplete pass.. It at least should have been reveiwed.....

I watched the SB out of town. Excellent game....I was rooting for the Steelers and despite the excellent play by the Cardinals on both sides of the ball, I believe the better team won. Even when the Cardinals went ahead with 2 1/2 minutes left, I thought the Steelers would pull it out. Classic drive by Roethisburger. The Cardinals "D" did a good job of shutting down the Steelers "O" for 2 1/2 quarters.
The Bidwills have tasted the sweet wine of winning so I doubt they'll revert to business of old. If they can keep most of this group together and with Whisenhunt's history, the Cardinals should be a force in the NFC.
Fitzgerald is amazing!!!!! Steelers couldn't keep him down for long.
