Boy I could say something a long winded and interesting about the progression (or decline) of conservatism. I'm too lazy so I'm going to go take a bong hit instead, but if I weren't, I'd be dropping knowledge straight out my undergrad theory of ideology text.
In short, Bush 2 was a neocon and the ultimate result of the southern strategy.
I would say Reagan and on were. I'll get skewered for that, but they played the same game with the same agenda for 30 years.
Except Gingrich. Hes alright.
