I have to agree with most of this, Alves is getting a lot of hype but he still has a lot to prove in my eyes. HE did beat Kos, but like you said it wasn't a blowout and on 2 weeks notice, Kos did quite well. He landed several right hands and leg kicks. I had him winning RD 2. He didn't get him down but, It's not like he had a full camp, to spar and wrestle with guys specifically getting him ready for ALves.. GSP tooled Kos, on the ground and on the feet, nobody outwrestles Kos, and GSP did.. 5 RDS with GSP these days is so hard, and Greg Jackson is proving himself to be a genius with game-plans. Having GSP basically clinch and Dirty box Penn on the cage for long stretches, Randy Couture Style, not just shooting for takedowns was geniuis..
