This game was a great big "F You" from the Spurs to the NBA.
I think they're pretty sick of being given these ridiculous back-to-backs.
There was a playoff series a couple of years ago where they made the Spurs play game 1 early Saturday afternoon after finishing off the previous series late Thursday night. Or something like that. As I remember the Spurs made their displeasure with the League quite public.
this "F You" only hurts the spurs. and all nba teams have to deal with back to backs...stop whining about them! i bet tim and parker feel perfectly fine and were willing to play.. POP IS A DUMBASS for this move

I think that was the '06 postseason, between the Kings series and the Mavs series. The Mavs just walked by the Bucks or Grizzlies or somebody, and we got beat up by the Kings before winning in 6, I think. Then the league makes sure to give us the absolute minimum amount of time they can until the next series. That, along with some of the ridiculous calls and ejections during the Mavs series made me something of a conspiracy theorist when it comes to the NBA. They weren't going to have another low-rated championship series that year.
I know they probably didn't conspire against us, but it was one thing after another in that series.

It's disappointing for those Spurs fans not living in San Antonio and relying on national broadcasts to catch games. This pretty much assures TNT, ABC and ESPN will be the only options. Thanks for screwing us out of towners Pop...

I don't think so..the Lakers have won pretty much every week, which is understandable since they have the most bandwagon fans..most of their fans probably only know Kobe and that "tall, ugly Spanish guy"..
LeBron James and the Cavs win a lot too because those guys are anointed by the NBA who still stupidly markets individuals instead of teams.
It seems to hurt your ass pretty badly too.

B: "I am voting right now."
Spurs then proceeded to go CIA and decide to give the match to Denver.
