Figured it is time to start this. Lakers may not have Bynum, but I think they still will win in convincing fashion. The Celts streak is getting snapped tomorrow night. Lakers win by double digits.

Yeah, I don't have have a good feeling about this game. The Lakers might win but too much going against them (no Bynum, in Boston, 2nd night of B2B).
I'd love to get a win but won't be too disappointed with a loss.

The Lakers simply don't have the size to matchup to BOS with Bynum out. They are going to get owned on the glass and Pierce, Allen, and Rondo will penetrate to the basket at will.
Unless Kobe has a super human night this game won't be close. If there is one team the Lakers absolutely need Bynum it's BOS. He changes everything.
I had placed $100 on the Lakers exactly a week ago for this game.

No expectations for this game...Lakers may play good for awhile..but Boston will just rain 3's all night.

If they win I'll be very very impressed! I've been anointing them the 3rd best team in basketball but a win would cause me to reconsider.

Lakers can make a huge statment if they win tomorrow but they have to play damn near perfect to pull this one out. Hopefully they win atleast one of the next two & finish the road trip 5-1 or better.

My personal thoughts is the Lakers bench will struggle, seeing as how they haven't really played all the well the last two games. Boston's bench is playing better as of late and they are at home.
Both teams will come out tough at first and it will be close. I just don't think Odom and the Bench Mob will play that well.
Kobe and Fish will play well as always in a mentally tough type of game. Hopefully, even Pau. But I expect a 8-12 pt loss for the Lakers. I wouldnt be too bothered with a loss tho as long as they hang tough and put a scare in the Celtics.
I am most interested to see how L.A. plays considering it's essentially the group that lost in the Finals. It will tell me alot about them
If BOS is allowed to play a physical game I can't see the Lakers coming out on top.
It's incredible how much Bynum impacts the game against this team. He keeps Perkins from dominating the glass, he completely neutralizes Leon Powe, and he stops any attempts from Pierce, Allen, and Rondo at the rim.
In short, he makes our defense work against BOS. Without him there are simply too many mismatches in BOS's favor. I don't need to see another regular season game between THIS Laker lineup and the Celtics to know that we don't matchup well.
its gonna depend which laker defense shows up. the one in christmas day or the one fom today against the raptors.
Boston will will win by 10 and Spurs will win the championship
