well i guess i'll start working pro-bono once again.
I know there are a lot of talented individuals here with graphic design skills and some of you have created Spurs desktop wallpapers. We would like to ask those of you interested to submit yours into us.
We're going to have a place to display the best of the best and each week we'll feature one on the site. So if any of you are interested in participating we look forward to seeing your works of art!

ps: spurs(dot)com you gonna hook us up with some hi-def images or do we have to scour the net for crappy 72dpi files? i want some raw images!

Cool idea, but I have some questions:
Are we allowed to put our names on the wallpaper? I usually put my name on the bottom of the image.
Do we need to send the 2 sizes? And why use small resolutions? (size 1 - 1280 pixels x 800 pixels, size 2 - 1024 pixels x 768 pixels)
I'll send mine later.
WOW great idea. I have to send some of my creations...
We requested that screen size because with those two sizes it incorporates more than 80% of the resolutions of our site visitors.

What ever you guys do don't post any of your work here unless you want koriwhat to tell you how much you suck. Apparently he is the only one qualified to make a Spurs wallpaper and he has yet to post any of his work.
no i won't say ... except that it is undeniable that you sir suck at graphic design. you can't take criticism, sorry! oh and thanks for making another bogus name on ST to talk trash to me. POS!
ps: art is about criticism! period. you obviously can't take criticism mouse and it's understandable because you have yet to do anything about your "skills". glad to know you don't take any classes in the field because you'd be crying every time there'd be a critique day coming up. big baby should be reserved for you and not glen davis.

Your name on it somewhere is fine. We're all for giving the artist credit and we will also add each artists' name in the description, but as a word of caution - please don't make giant billboards for your name, excessive promotion of a domain name or slap a giant logo of some kind on there, please and thank you.
As for high res images, we plan on putting together a little "pack" of random photos that can be downloaded. It'll have to be something that is updated regulary since we don't want to see the same photos getting used over and over. I'll let you know when we have some up. Until then if you have something in mind please PM me with what you might be looking for.
Thanks you to everyone who has sent a wall in! We've already received a bunch of cool stuff from many of you and can't wait to display some of it for you. I'd like to remind everyone though that we're only picking one feature per week so if you send us 15 wallpapers in one go we're only going to judge what we feel is the best one of those each week. Thanks again!
