Not we.
I've done it, but try not too.
People make such a big deal out of everything. I personally don't care if they use "we" or refer to the team by its name.
I dont have a problem with people referring to their team as 'we'. Normal fan talk, you represent your team.
I think those who do this are extremely corny.
---What do you mean, "we"? Oh i'm sorry I didn't know you suited up. ---
Something along those lines.
Apart of being a fan is aligning yourself with the team. We are just as important to them as they are to us.
I don't really mind it, just don't like doing it.
without fans, there are no teams..
I've seldom mention "we" when I talk about rockets team, because I always feel ashamed to be known as a fan of the rockets team that hasn't broken into the seacond round for over a decade.
Bull lies. Look at the WNBA
We don't care about this.
Definitely stupider when people try to correct it.
"How many points did YOU score last night".
I don't mind as long as it's not a blatantly obvious bandwagoning fan. For example, if someone was a fan of the Knicks and then suddenly became a Lakers fan, it'd be kinda amaechi to go to the "we" card right away.
So no other Laker fans get annoyed when Rick Fox says "we"? It bugs the out of me.
I do it and have no problem doing so.
It was odd when I first heard it but he WAS a Laker after all.
Besides, after going through the stadium tunnels just to look for a fight with Doug Christie, he gets alot of slack from me.
