Nice pick up of Shannon Brown who has been playing well defensively as of late.

They got him for his outside shooting hmmm. I thought vladimir was a better outside shooter oh well.
Vlad has historically played well against the Spurs. Last season, he lit up Manu in Game 1.
Good riddance.
LOL, they trade garbagonovich for the trash 'stach, seems like two equally useless players.
LOL FAIL on both sides I think. The Lakers picked up Morrison for outside shooting? Riiiiggghhht. That guy hasnt hit the side of a barn in awhile. He's DONE.
dunno how i feel about this. I feel bad for the guy. Phil was kind of a to him.
Maybe he shouldn't have separated his shoulder snow boarding when he should have been focused on basketball.
Phil liked him too much, most coaches wouldn't keep Garbagonovich in the starting lineup so long.
Talk about breaking news. i cant find this confirmed on any lakers websites yet
Championship! It was a salary dump move on LAL's part. Charlotte, I have no idea why.
Well, at least Shannon Brown is pretty damn hot.

Charlotte was looking to bolster their frontline.
Can anyone confirm if Shannon Browns and MOrrissons contracts expire this summer.
In that case that could allow the Lakers to sign a key rotation player like Ariza or LO again.
Even if these guys don't play its not a bad thing cuz neither was Vlad
still a great trade for LA.....expensive European garbage for cheap American garbage when the expensive Euro garbage is useless is great for LA.
This trade can be made all the more better if Brown can be used as a defensive specialist versus smaller opposing players. Morrisson will probably play very little...or maybe not since we currently don't have a shooter at the SF position with Walton and Ariza. So maybe he will play a little.
Great trade in my opinion.
Bobcats were stuck with Morrison, Lakers stuck with Radman. A change of scenery might jumpstart their careers again. Win Win gamble for both teams.
If it doesn't pan out, they're in the same situation as before the trade so no harm done.
Trade was made to dump salary for Ariza.
I think Morrison's signed until 2011.
Morrrison has 2 years left on his contract and Vlad has 3
ok, then wtf. lol
I believe there is a team option for Morrison after this year... could be wrong though
If Adam Morrison is on the same rookie-scale tht other rookie's are, I believe the Lakers hold an opt-out clause for the final two years. This being his third year, I think they can exercise their team option and dump he and his salary.
Great trade for the Lakers. Mitch continues to impress and impress me. Got rid of Vlad's contract and got some young potential in return. Morrison was great in college and was a #3 pick. Brown has some potential as well and helps solidify our PG position. Never saw this coming. Great move Mitch![]()
Hoopshype doesn't have it listed as a team option
