I don't like Michel Moore's methodology of ridicule, nor his preaching to the converted and I haven't watched Sicko, but I do know independent fact checks have stated that the movie was absolutely bomb-proof in terms of the evidence and statistics it cites.
So why don't they end it?
....while many may not agree with Moore's methodology, it hard to debate that insurance companies don't have a vested interest in minimizing their costs while maximizing their profits...many times to the detriment of their 'former' policy holders...
I just hope the quality doesn't go down, doctors leave the profession, waiting becomes insane, and rationing of care begins.
Have fun when your parents, who have worked their ass off to pay for themselves, need an operation and they have to wait forever to get a simple MRI.
Bali, Moore may have nailed some stuff but it is what he left out that many of you will not realize until you are in a waiting room...er...list.
there are 2 ways to look at healthcare
1. a true free market drives costs down
2. a 100% socialized system mandates the cost to be low.
we have neither and the people suffer.
