A great win for San Antonio. What you just saw was a preview of the Finals.
you do realize allen is very clutch

Good job es.
Great win, Big plays down the stretch..
Wow...great road win in the Garden...even after coming out totally flat to start the second half, the Spurs get it done in crunch time. Once again, Roger Mason hit a huge 3 right when we needed it. GO SPURS GO!!!![]()
I do. I also realize that he got caught on several screens(he was not trying very hard to fight through them the whole game) which let to an open jumper for Allen and led to Allen beating him to the rim...which caused Duncan to help and leave KG wide open to drain another jumper. Those two sequences almost cost us the game.
Saying boston isn't as good as last year isn't anything new at this point. Losing PJ Brown also hurt.
Major major props to the Spurs for getting their biggest win of the season so far!
Getting bored of this Kobe Bryant Lebron James love-fest in the following Laker-Cavalier game. Jeez.
Bonner was big today. If he can do that against the Lakers we'll be in business.
Hill was also big of off the bench during the 2nd half.
The big 3 did their thing with only Parker struggling offensively.
Thomas was solid.
Mason sucked all game long and I kept screaming what a terrible shot and he hits nothing but net. Clutch down the stretch for sure.
I thought Finley was actually decent one on one with Pierce but he was all screwed up on rotations. No factor on offense with only 4 shot attempts.
just got back from meeting and found out the news. Who'd a thunk we could win with Parker going 3-12 for 7 points.
Bonner is sealing the deal as the starter. Couldn't have won without him.
If we had one more wing that could bring the huthle muthle on D, we would own the celtics. Even with our frontcourt the way it is. Can you imagine putting someone of marginally effective defensive intensity on Pierce, and letting Bowen OWN Ray Allen like a champ?
The Celtics offense would look like ours did during the first 6 minutes of the 3rd quarter.
LOL @ page 28 of this thread.
Winning wall.

I'm must owe some subscription $$, I see only 25 pages.
Yeah basically it went from kicking Mason in the nuts with steel toe'd boots on, to sucking his nuts in a matter of seconds...
Good find.
is there a clutcher team in this soft ass league? damn all we need is 50 wins, and keep the finals games within 3 at the end. and then its money. i mean damn look at the finals favorites, boston and la. next to no expirience off the bench. almost no clutch shooting(none for the lakers). ill go ahead and count the lakers out right now. kobe and fish. all the expirience they have. thats it. celts have eddie, paul, ray and kg. spurs? roger mason jr, bruce bowen, kurt thomas, tim duncan, manu, tony, finley, how many big shots have they made between them. damn.
Capt Bringdown.
"we lost"

I don't think I would be able to follow the game reading these threads. I wouldn't know what the to think. lol
Am I the only one that felt we got lucky in this win? Bonner needs 23 points. Last 2 and a half minutes we kept having ZERO rotation on KG after the pick n roll and he was getting free shots. Mason clutch 3 along with Bonner somehow getting KG off his feet and then rattles in the free throw line shot. Man even KG busted a 3 after house added one. I kind of got the feeling we got left off the hook on this one and really lucked out on Allen having that ball kind of slip off his hands.
Bonner just did what he had to do, Celts doubled TD AND TP, if they wouldnt have, they would have got theirs and we still would have won, so either way, a win is a win. Plus, LUCK IS A PART OF THE GAME.
I just logged on for the first time today, so I wasn't able to enjoy that live.
