what's the matter? the CIA got you pushing too many pencils?
Wolf Blitzer is kind of an ahole. I don't watch the news though...especially if it annoys me.
what's the matter? the CIA got you pushing too many pencils?
LOL best Whottt post ever.
Hey...you know what....now that you mention it, Ledger's Joker was a total toast er
I thought Tom Cruise's scenes in Tropic Thunder were horrible. And I'm not necessarily anti-Tom Cruise. But basically, the joke seemed to be "OMG that's TOM CRUISE!!" which wasn't really funny. And then it got worse.
The best part of the movie were the trailers at the very beginning, followed by Robert Downey Jr. The rest was very meh.
The first time I saw Tropic Thunder I laughed my ass off. The second time I saw it, I hardly laughed at all. All the jokes seem to be the type that make you laugh out of surprise & shock the first time you see it, but when that initial surprise wears off, it all seems pretty lame.
Before you get on people for over hyping the movie keep in mind these are the same asshats that think WTC7 fell down due to fire.
The trailers were great, but the part where he throws the kid still makes me die everytime I see it. I agree it was funniest the first time through then not so much though. Pineapple Express man, now there is a funny ass movie.
This.
Except I'd rate Robert Downey Jr. as the best, and the trailers as second best.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thought that movie sucked major donkey ass.
DUDE, I haven't seen that.
Is it Superbad level funny?
i fell asleep, woke up when he killed the panda cub, and then turned it off. i thought pineapple express was much funnier. the best part of the whole thing, i thought, was this:

I don't know if I'd go that far, I'm glad I saw it and I laughed a few times, but it was very forgettable.
you have to have seen (and loved) apocalypse now alot before watching tropic thunder
Superbad was a huge disappointment for me. I wanted to laugh. But it just wasn't very funny. Pineapple Express >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Reallybad
I have seen Apocalypse Now a few times including the Redux version. I have also watched Hearts of Darkness a couple of times and loved everything about both films. But Tropic Thunder just wasn't very good. I was much more entertained by the new Rambo film.
Like other people have posted, Tom Cruise was great as the asshole movie producer. The video conference scene when he tells the grip to hit Steve Coogan in his face was the best scene of the whole film. "Diet Coke!"
What exactly a toast er?
And can we expect a newly registered member from Victoria called toast er regulator at some point in the future?
I didn't even know it was Tom Cruise until the credits...I didn't even know Tom Cruise was in it. It makes a difference IMHO.
I'm not saying the movie itself is particularly great...although I enjoyed it, then again I only saw it once(the last movie I saw twice was Raiders of the Lost Ark).
Red: Do you know what today is?
Saul: Tuesday.
Red: This is my cat's birthday today.
Dale Denton: I don't see a cat in here. I'm sorry. Did you let it out by accident?
Red: No, because he died three months ago, okay? So now who's the funny guy?
Dale Denton: I'm sorry?
Red: Today is his birthday and it is a tradition that on his birthday I get up extra early and make him his favorite kind of dessert.
Saul: Don't worry, bro. Your cat's going to heaven.
Red: Yeah, maybe. Maybe he went to heaven. He was a little er. He could've gone to .
The character Red was one of the funniest performances I've ever seen in my life, he killed me. And James Franco was freaking awesome.
I also just watched Zack and Miri Make a Porno, which sucked ass. But the kid from the Mac/PC commercials, killed it, stole the whole movie in his 5 minutes.
That fat jew seth rogan sucks, we got flooded with seth rogan performances. But pineapple express was pretty ing funny.
Pineapple Express was funny in spite of Seth Rogen, not because of. The exception being the scene in the woods with the giant bug.
