I was trying to explain a Marathon bar to timvp the other day. They don't make them anymore, right?

you totally beat me to that, I was trying to rack my brain for what they were called!
Oh damn, when did that come out? The devil is in the form of chocolate...Ferrero Rondnoir...
Well, of course, but I put the good stuff in a separate category for my own benefit. To help me make sense of this crazy, mixed up world, in a sense.
Lindt truffles and Lemonheads in the same group? That's just crazy talk.
Even though Lemonheads are pretty damn amazing. They should have been on my list with Nerds and Smarties.
I'm not enough of a candy connoisseur to know which ones I like, but they've been the same since I was a kid. As long as it's not the SweetTarts made to look like Smarties, I'm okay.
Reese's penut butter cups and Tolberone are my weaknesses
They're pretty new. Probably been out for a year or so.
It's like a Ferrero Rocher.....except it replaces all the nuts with chocolate.
I love the Rocher's because I think hazelnuts are delicious, but damn.
It's hard to turn down chocolate covered chocolate in chocolate with chocolate sprinkles.![]()
Can't forget about a chic-o-stick
This is the kinda candy you expect to see when you visit granny.![]()
It didn't leave a foul taste in your mouth?
Does anyone remember these? Good stuff man!!!!!!!!

Gotta give it up...

the nestle ones are from the UK, and they're basically like M&M's with a thicker candy coating. Quite good.
I can eat Brach's caramel chews for forever.
I've never had those, then. I guess it's the snortable kind that I like.
Take 5 chocolate and put it in the freezer
For chocolate it has to be Godiva or Ghiradelli. For candy bars Pay Day is easily my favorite, and it's the only candy bar I ever buy. For non-chocolate candy my top 3 are
1. Jelly Belly
2. Haribo Sour Gold Bears
3. Haribo Gold Bears (German recipe)
The German Haribo Gold Bears have a raspberry flavor not in the American version, they're chewier than the American ones, and they're not quite as sweet. I know it's weird to say a candy not being as sweet is a good thing, but I think it really works for the German Gold Bears.
