So instead of spending the money to do the projects you need to do now, you want to save it for the future problems and in order to do the projects you need to do now you're going to take federal money.

I don't know of anything else in there that's specifically for Texas - but since Cornyn and Hutchison are very strongly against the stimulus bill; I wouldn't think they were asking for anything. Don't know about all the Reps - I do know my Rep here in Tarrant County was one of the ones leading the pack of Republicans that voted against the bill.
