Of course he thinks everything is fine. He can't see or hear anything with his head so far up his own ass.

PHILADELPHIA - Suns star Amaré Stoudemire said he takes pride in keeping spirits up in the locker room, even during some of their recent struggles. He said the team has stayed unified and has a good time together.
So as trade talk has increased, some comments have rankled him.
"I heard (ESPN analyst) Avery Johnson say one time that I was a bad locker-room guy or whatever," said Stoudemire, who also named ESPN analyst Tim Legler. "That's total BS. We get along so well outside the locker room. We hang out with each other probably more than any team in the league as far as camaraderie, as far everyone hanging out together. We try to enjoy ourselves."
Stoudemire talked with admiration about how San Antonio has kept a core of players together, and that Boston figures to do the same. He is the only Suns player besides Leandro Barbosa and Steve Nash remaining from three seasons ago, and more changes came this season in personnel and coaches.
"It's totally hard," Stoudemire said. "A little bit before Shaq (O'Neal) got here, I was putting up incredible numbers. I was looking to come back this year and be the vocal leader and hopefully win a championship or even be talked about in MVP situations or even step up defensively and be Defensive Player of the Year. All those goals were in mind. It just happens to be a little different. You just got to adjust."
or even step up defensively and be Defensive Player of the Year
thanks for the laugh Amare .
Of course he thinks everything is fine. He can't see or hear anything with his head so far up his own ass.
It's even worse that his head is filled with air.
i believe him. the suns problems aren't chemistry related, they're related to the fact that they're just a slightly above average roster.
a lot of people had this team pinned for 44-46 wins before this year started. personally I think they'll get 47-50, and thus overachieved
Right, a hall of fame center, the self-proclaimed GORILLA MAN!!!!, 2 time MVP, 7 time all star Grant Hill, and J-Rich is slightly above average.
And how does he get his points? Playing in garbage time just to reach his average.![]()
Impressive names, impressive accolades, but not an impressive roster.
the offense is still pretty good anyway, atleast statistically. for all the names and accolades though there are no great defensive players.
The looked pretty unified when porter got sick...
I should reiterate a point, i have no idea why people think teams like the rockets, suns, and pistons are underachieving.
When your best player is the great wall of soft, you are not expected to be great. who the actually thought ron artest is the difference between perennial 1st round defeat and actually being a contender? Is T-Quitter supposed to strike fear into the hearts of opponents? the other 8 west teams are licking their chops for a shot at teh rockets in the 1st round. We hear that they may get it together, newsflash: if you haven't figured it out after 52 games, you're probably never gonna figure it out.
when your best player is amare stoudamire, you are not expected to be great. aren't the suns overachieving anyway? if Shaq wasn't having an amazing year they'd probably be a .500 team. Nash is experiencing a decline expected with a 34 YO pg, and amare is experiencing a decline expected for a player who cannot create his own offense. as nash declines, so too does amare, direct relationship
when your best player is allen iverson, you are not expected to be great. Allen iverson? Rip hamilton? Rasheed wallace? .... yeah not exactly shaking in my boots.
you can be expected to be good though, and all these teams are +.500, thus we can consider them good teams.
These teams are considered underachievers not because they actually are, but because the names on the rosters are overhyped. T-Quitter is an above average player at best, same with Allen Iverson. amare is a good player, but not a franchise player for any team serious about winning a championship. You can string together a few 50 win seasons with Amare, which teh suns can still accomplish this year, but you can never be a contender, nor should you be expected to be one.

I was looking to come back this year and be the vocal leader and hopefully win a championship or even be talked about in MVP situations or even step up defensively and be Defensive Player of the Year.
Did Shaq hit him in the head with a large object? Defensive player of the year? He needs to learn HOW to play defense first before even suggesting this idea.
Maybe he asked JHo to give him some weed![]()

Thanks man. I really needed a good laugh today.![]()
That whole quote is just mired with stupidity.
i want to see J-Ho and A'm'a'r'e on the same team, it would be hilarious.
Who's a bigger dumbass.. Josh Howard or Amare?
Ya'll crazy man, Amare could very well be DPOY but you can't control what the ball do. It's hilarious, ya'll crazy.
Easy. Just give us Shaq for JHo and Stack![]()
I was hoping it wouldn't be the Suns.....it wouldn't be funny if that's what I had to cheer for.
Yo I'm THE MAN Josh Howard is MVP. Tupac would say J-Ho is MVP and Tupac is my role model....if what I said makes no sense it's because I'm GORILLA MAN!!!!
