Let's hope so.

Now, for the real news out of Dallas regarding Terrell Owens. Peter King wrote this yesterday in his Monday Morning QB, and I believe he is dead-on accurate. When, not if, is the real question everyone is asking about T.O. He will not be back, but the team is still deciding when to make the announcement of his termination or trade. Maybe Jerry Jones can work a trade out to send Owens to the Raiders since they have a huge need at wideout and have never been afraid to take on a big challenge. This will be interesting to follow as it develops. (National Football Post)
cap space....
just get him gone. while they're at it, pack ou roy's bags too.
As much as I want TO gone there is going to be a ton of questions to address if he does leave.
Crayton is inconsistent at best. Sidney Green had better hands than Crayton much of last year.
Roy Williams looked sloppy. I don't doubt the guys playmaking ability but he ran poor routes and generally looked shaky over the middle.
The rest of the bunch can't stay healthy long enough to assess. Which is a whole different issue altogether.
As far as I'm concerned they can let TO go (for nothing if they have to) they just need a contingent plan to bring in another solid 2nd option in the event Crayton repeats last years performance.
No 1st round pick to take a receiver, and I don't really know how deep this year's draft class is at receiver. Not that it would matter because Wade's rope is short enough to not have the luxury of relying on a rookie receiver to actually produce. TO needs to be sent packing, but their problems are much greater than that. That whole team is completely backwards.
Boldin and Colston weren't 1st round draft picks. There are recievers to be found in the later rounds. But, Austin showed a lot of promise when he played this past season and Hurd will be healthy as well.
We'll see what happens.
Bottom line, we didn't win any playoff games with T.O. and if we don't win any without him, we're really not losing much.
Don't forget that we have TEs with excellent hands. Witten can easily be our #1 receiver.
They better not cut him. Trade him yea, but don't cut him. There are other players who should be cut first.
I'm indifferent to Owens at this point. Could take him or leave him given his falloff in production. If he leaves, Roy needs to seriously step the up.
On a side-note, it's hard to get over so many Spurs fans talk about the Cowboys as their team, despite being so annoyingly anti-Dallas on every other issue.
We're not Anti-Dallas, just anti-Mavericks.
You will find a lot of Stars, Rangers and Cowboys fans here.
TO was born to be a Raider.
It's not anti-Dallas, it's anti- bag Mark Cuban worshipping post 2000 bandwaggoning Maverick fans. That the majority of those people happen to be from Dallas is an unfortunate reality.
Cut TO's ass from the team like the malignant tumor that he is. It will be addition by subtraction.
Cowboys should learn from the Steelers. take the game out of the qb's hands and pound the ball with your running game to set up Romo, and the team, for success.
but they won't do it cuz Jerry's all about flash and cash; not necessarily winning championships.
who gives a what dallas get back just get rid of him
this is stupid. t.o is a good player, he is not even close to why the boys sucked.not even close. I don't want to hear any but, but, but t.o did this. he did nothing. talk about reading or listening to the gossip pages.more often than not MEN are talking about t.o. you sound like a bunch es at hair salon.
Yea, dude still had 1,000 yards and 10 td's. Unless the Boys have a more viable option to march out to start, I would much rather them bring him back.
It's criminal for SPURS fan to discount the importance of CHEMISTRY.
And you actually had the answer all along.
Not if I have anything to say about it!
Wade Phillips troll fails
mostly because of that godawful typo in the sig.
And while we're at it, let's give em Romo, Barber, Jones, Ratliff, DeMarcus Ware, Witten, the other Roy Williams, Bradie James..let's just get rid of the whole team and start over. Come on man..be real. We can't get rid of one of the greatest receivers of all time and get nothing in return, and then get rid of one of the hardest hitters in football for the same. That would be stupid football, and stupid business.
How many dropped balls? How many catches across the middle?
Not to mention that dividing locker rooms trumps what he did on the field.
