I'm surprised LA didn't go down low more often..Utah has no shot blocker..Okur is a decent man defender in the post, but nothing special..Gasol should have had more looks, and LA should have penetrated more..Kobe's too talented to settle..

Kobe should stop doing that "big balls" dance every time he does that he gets burn.
This thread isn't about the Mavericks, it's about Kobe being a drama queen adulterer primadonna center killer overhyped 40% Finals shooter.
Okur's dance is the play of the year though..entertainment at it's finest..
I'm not sure why Kobe decided to go solo tonight. His shot was way off and he wasn't getting the calls. He had one big 3, but then he really screwed the pooch with turnovers and careless shots. Phil needs to reign this behavior in and start telling Kobe to run the ing offense down the stretch.

So now that the Spurs and Lakers lost tonight, I guess the Cavs and Celtics are the two best teams in basketball "right now" lol.
Tonight I can honestly say Kobe's solo play took the team out of the game.
Still, the Lakers are showing how tough they are even in their losses. I honestly can't remember the last time they were actually blown out by a team. Nearly every loss has come down to the wire.
This game is on Phil. What is this? Like the 4th 7 game winning streak? can't get 8 for some reason.

The secret to defeating the Lakers is the same as defeating the Celtics. They have a bunch of soft ass interior players. Body them up and play them physical. The Jazz proved that out tonight.

Good performance for the Lakers considering it was a back to back in Utah, which is murderous.
LOL you also need refs to swallow their whistles for the entire game, which is basically what they did tonight.
Utah gets away with a lot of on their homecourt, which is part of the reason why they have a great home record. I think some refs are fearful of Mormon retribution to be totally honest, you can literally hear the hatred and venom from the fans in most telecasts. I could swear I heard some guy saying "TRAITOR, YOUR DAUGHTER ISN'T SICK" in the background tonight.
The crowd was into it, and it was in Utah. I wasn't expecting many calls to go LA's way. Still, no excuse for a team missing two starters.
