Yeah I know it's just annoying how newscasters have to act all big and talk about all their "inside sources" rather than just wait to report something when they know for a fact it's true.

My smart money would be Kerr and then offseason they make a play for Jeff Van Gunday or Tom Thibodeau.

Yeah and to add to the doubt Kerr was just on TNT. I highly doubt he has time for that if this is tru. , all this hype for nothing.
that's pretty cool and all.... if you're a suns fan. why are the spurs fans rejoicing? i like porter, he used to be a spur, but yah, he's not cut out for a coaching job yet, he has good basketball iq, but when your team had d'antoni and flourished in his system, really, what do you expect to happen. terry porter came into the wrong situation. if he came to the thunder or wizards or somewhere terrible right now, he might not have done too bad. but then again, who am i to talk about coaches...
A great coach has studied the systems of all the other coaches. They live breathe and have an innate feel for the game. They know the right adjustments to make and when to call their timeouts and make their rotations. Not everyone can do this or has studied the game in this detail. It's a career.
and why are spurs fans enjoying the moment? as soon as he leaves, someone who might be good will come in his place and start winning. the suns are very motivated and sick of losing to the spurs in the playoffs, they might face them and beat them, solely on motivation, because they certainly don't have a better team. i don't know, just something to think about
I usually believe in where there's smoke there's fire, but the Phoenix media loves to fabricate things based off completely nothing.
When they've had more talent than the Spurs, they've found a way to lose. Now that they have less talent, finding a way to lose shouldn't be very hard. Regardless of who's coach, I pray to god they don't play the Spurs in the playoffs.
With the right coach and the pieces that the Suns have, they could be very dangerous.

I don't understand what Kerr has done wrong....all he's done was be in the unfortunate position of a GM who's working for an owner who involves himself in personnel decision making (when he shouldn't) and is more concerned with shaving payroll.

i think its sarver myself and i think some people realize it, hes a cheap ass owner, that doesnt want to spend money. couldve got a better coach but was more expensive for him. porter tried his best but i dont think the players really respected him that much. I think its hard to respect your coach when hes out partying with you......as i seen him in the club with shaq(his wife)grant hill(tamia his wife) barbosa, amare. The club(Jackrabbits in Scottsdale)
