Well this is going to be the usual trade deadline waiting game.
Haha, this thread reminds me of the epic "Ime Udoka" thread that lasted forever for that summer in anticipation of the free agent signing.
Maybe this can be the third team?
OKC Thunder interested in Afflalo and Amir?

Darnell Mayberry, the beat reporter for the Oklahoma City Thunder, wrote an article Monday listing available Thunder players and players from other NBA teams that would be of interest to Oklahoma City.
January 6, The Oklahoman: It's no secret around the NBA that anyone on the Thunder's roster not named Kevin Durant, Jeff Green or Russell Westbrook can be had for the right price.
Exactly what that asking price is will be made clear over the next six weeks as the Feb. 19 trading deadline nears and deals are consummated. The Thunder, however, will certainly be in the thick of this year's trading flurry as it continues reconstructing its roster.
Oklahoma City is filled with attractive pieces, from players with expiring contracts in Joe Smith, Chris Wilcox and Desmond Mason, to veterans like Nick Collison and Earl Watson who could be valuable additions to playoff teams...
→Detroit: Arron Afflalo and Amir Johnson are young players who fill two pressing needs for the Thunder on the wing and in the post. The Pistons are high on Johnson, but the Thunder could sweeten the deal with a future draft pick.
Joe Dumars likes Amir Johnson a lot, and he also likes Arron Afflalo. It would take the right deal for Joe to think about moving one of those two young Piston players, let alone both of them
A deal sending Amir Johnson, Afflalo and Alex Acker to Oklahoma for Chris Wilcox would work cap-wise, but the Pistons would be giving up too much. Which is probably why Mayberry mentioned the future draft pick. Although for this deal, the pick would have to be a pretty good pick. Wilcox just turned 26 years old and has proved to be a solid big man in the NBA on both ends of the court.
Still, it would leave the Pistons without much help on the bench in the guard department and Detroit would be risking part of their future. Any deal like this would have to convince Joe Dumars that it would put the Pistons over the top and have a good chance at winning the NBA le this season, and the draft pick protection(or lack thereof) would have to be enticing.
Hmmm and don't we know the Thunder GM....

I didn't realize any people gave a crap.
I figured people would be happy that moniker would be gone.
Tony vs. Manu, who would you rather give up for Sheed?
Spurs might need to invite a third team to make it work for everyone.
Austin Toros? James.................. WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Neither.
all i want to see is a legit source about this trade please ive been talking about this trade all nite to my friends
i can't wait if this does happen
Yes. Timvp and Kori confirmed that the soucre was indeed real. EricB is the poster formally known as TPark, so don't be fooled by the post count.
You think about what other people think too much. Who cares if people like your screen name or not?
I dont see anything happening with Rasheed until/if Stoudemire is traded. Reports are that Detroit is offering Rasheed + Amir + picks for Amare.
your the only one that makes everything about the spurs pos ive
no
But why is he now EricB????
I'll reiterate it agian.
On the Chris and Jason show today, Chris Duel had a very good friend of his that has VERY good sources apparently within the Detroit organization tell him, that the Spurs and Pistons were "close" ona deal that would ship out Fabricio Oberto and Michael Finley to Detroit and the Spurs would recieve Rasheed Wallace.
This is going off of Chris Duel's personal friend, who IMO is pretty reliable due to he says hes gotten many scoops from before, and IMO chris Duel is a reputable guy who doesn't report BS.
T Park had nor still has any sources.
T Park is dead. Gone, buried, ashes thrown into the ocean.
Something about a cloud, crying and fear. Now he uses the name bestowed upon him at birth.
This is too good to not repost.![]()
Thank you, lol.

if this were to happen, wouldn't it go down after the all star break?
