In my honest opinion (OPINION) this spurs team is not far off and is not in need of any major movesto win it all. I think with what we got we can win if everyone brought there A game. But its to much inconsistency in the frontcourt that kills us. Particularly being outrebounded and giving up to many offensive rebounds . And all I hear is having A big that can stretch the floor.( Really dont need that when you got tony and tim and more shooters than the US millitary.) If we landed sheed ( Doubt it even though im sure he'd be happier in SA.)Great. But if not I think we could use an average big man that can give tim A rest, defend fast big men and grab more than four boards.(Not to knock Kurt). And im pretty sure there are players less talented than sheed available that can fill that role.We have enough scoring and enough shooters. We need more post help.(Just look at hayword glenn davis dampier diop. Not great but can dammit rebound. Im pretty sure there is A low risk high reward situation somewhere out there and the FO has the intelligence to find it. Next couple of days will be interesting.( If they wanna push for five or rebuild is the Question.)

That's just it though, we barely escaped the Boston game and the Lakers are still a threat with the lineup we have.
We need a guy like Camby IMO.
even Kaveman would help. expecting anything better is just dreaming
A guy in the middle who can intimidate and grab some rebounds.. now if he had a decent outside shot, the Spurs would be all set.. as presently cons uted, the Spurs will still be compe ive but the margin for error is much smaller and the wear and tear on key players, Duncan in particular, will be a bigger concern as the team goes deep into the playoffs.
And there are A couple out there.
