Okay. Someone explain this. I don't do any of this social networking stuff so now that it's on here I want to know. Do I ask people to be my friend or do I ask them if I can be their friend? Is there an advantage to having friend status? Is it really just a contest to ac ulate as many friends as possible just for the of it?

Just add people you know, and be aware of people you add. I hide my friends and comments(Even though it's simple to look at them) so no one gets too much into my information. I've had people i barely know add my other friends, and they've never even met.
