I dont see why not, The spurs can definitely use someone like Haslem.
So how the Heat got O'Neal and Moon on their roster, there is a logjam at the PF position, and Moon duplicates a lot of what Haslem does.
What does this mean for the Spurs? The Spurs can use a guy like Haslem, a guy who can rebound, play tough interior defense, nail the open 15 foot jumper, do the dirty work underneath. But who can the Spurs give up that the Heat would want, and to be 20% within the $6.6M Haslem is pulling in to boot.

Haslem is a PF.
Moon is a SF.
Haslem O'Neal will be a good 1.2 front court punch.
Why would they get rid of Haslem?
Couldnt hurt. He is just the guy. And it wont take much to get him. im pretty sure we have something of interest to A team like miami. He would solve most of our problems? Its somebody of his caliper we need.

I think the guy would be a great fit.
I agree that he'd be a great fit, but I just don't see a reason for the Heat to trade him. They've got a playoff team, and don't think this trade effects that.

This hits the nail on the head. We've got nothing but roadkill on our bench.
He is a nice player, but there is really no reason to trade him if you are the Heat. For that price, you are not going to get the same value in return.
haslem & marion were much more redundant than haslem & o'neal.
Heat still think they can make an impact in the playoffs so I doubt it.
spoelstra likes his defense and beasley doesnt do it. halsmem not going anywhere
Haslem is as much a pipe dream as Sheed, Camby, etc, etc
You've just proved you know nothing about Jamario Moon. He's a tall, skinny SG who's afraid to do anything inside. His skill set is NOTHING like Haslem's.
The only reason the heat would trade Haslem is if Beasley starts to explode, and actually play some defense. Now that they have Jermaine to defend the paint, they might be more willing to part with him.
Worth a shot. But i dont see what they could want from the Spurs.
From what I've read, Miami wants Beasley to play SF, so I don't think there are any plans to trade Haslem.
That would be suicide. Beasley is way too big and slow to play SF.
spurs would have to blow riley over. not gonna happen.
Hes 6'7" without shoes. About Carmelo Anthony size. Similar game too, but not quite as good on the perimeter.
I think hes too small to become a permanent PF.
it would be so refreshing to see you say in my opinion just once and not act like you've never been wrong about anything and know it all.
Beasley is smaller than plenty of SFs in the league.
defensively, he'd have some issues.
but offensively, he has the handle and the range to go with his strength to cause match-up problems for the opponent.
he's so smooth with the basketball that people tend to think that he's slower than he is. slow guys don't blow past mario chalmers or brandon rush on the perimeter like beasley did last year.
Untrue. Moon shoots a lot outside, but he also dunks a lot, and grabs a lot of rebounds. He does it with hustle and energy rather than skill.
Haslem is similar in ways that he hustles his way to rebounds whole not being overly large.
The two are energy guys on the court, and play very similar roles on their respective teams.
Haslem is going nowhere but next to Jermaine Oneal in the starting frontcourt.
Jamario Moon is more like a James Posey-sized defensive swingman.
