Why you hating on Dwight? He is my favourite non Spurs player. Loyal to his team, entertaining, and a future symbol for the NBA. He is the defending champion, what else is there to say?
He's not going to win, plain and simple.
Go home, Dwight, you had your 5 minutes of fame last year with your so-called Superman dunk. It's getting old. You're getting old. Everyone is tired of seeing you.
Why is he even in it this year? What is he trying to prove? Maybe he should concentrate on getting his team far into the playoffs instead of trying to make himself look good by bull dunking.

I think some are jealous because it's starting to look like he's going to be the next great big.
I also hope DH lose the contest because I have bet 100 on Fernandez.
I would like to see new guys win it, so do most of other NBA fans including the Magic fans. JR.Smith and Nate are also veterans in this game, so I think Fernandez will have more chance to replicate the miracle barry composed in 95.
I don't care who wins I just hope it's a good one. Seems like every year it gets increasingly harder to come up with something original and exciting

Glad to see dwight lose like he should he's a great guy with a funny personality but seriously his dunks aren't worth 50, way overrated.. kenny makes him out to be the 2nd comming of christ.. nate deserved the win.. rudys dunks were easily better the smiths no way he should of got 42 for them.. glad to see nate win though
the 12 ft dunk was lame....i mean it was just a regular dunk. there are a lot of people that can dunk at 12 ft these days....he should have done a windmill or a reverse or something.
I also feel he should have saved that dunk for the finals.

I would like to see James White actually make it to and stick in the NBA so he can be in the dunk contest. Id like to see James White and Dwight Howard vs 720 and another great And1 dunker.

I'm not trash talking or anything. It should have been quite clear from the very beginning that Nate Robinson was going to win. Again, no trash talking...Nate Robinson had no compe ion in this dunk contest.
