Jealous?
Agreed. Shaq is about Shaq. PERIOD! And now that hes on the outside looking in at a Laker team which is a contender.... now there was never an issue with Kobe. Now he would love to come back. If he puts on a Laker jersey again.... I will cancel my season tix in a heartbeat after 33 years. Can't stand the BIG Hypocrite.
Jealous?
Awwwwww. boo ing hoooooo. Lakers waiting list takes years to get on. I am sure Buss is crying. Glad to hear you care more about the name on the back of the jersey than the front.
Ive supported the Lakers prolly longer than you have been alive. And it's exactly why i would cancel. Not because of the name on the back, but the one on the front. He totally dissed the entire organization like everyone he has played for. It would be an embarassment for the organization.
And it has nothing to do with my thinking i would be hurting Buss. What a moronic comment. It would be simply because i would not want to waste my money paying for tix when i wouldn't even go to the games. Shaq is a punk!
What would i be jealous of?
Shaq: Shaqtus, 23 points
ESPN dude: How did you get so many Q's?
Shaq: Don't worry about it...
Shaq: My turn again... What do you know? Shaqtastic...
Funny guy but sometimes I just cant tell if he is being serious. He just sounds like a jackass sometimes.
He is pretty funny though, he owned with the jabbawockeez.![]()
i guess duncan not having 8 les is the reason people hate shaq
How many aliases does this guy have?
Aliases? Is he a ing jewel thief or a basketball player? I think we call them nicknames.
shaq hasn't been worthy of an all star appearance for several years...just abolish the center position from the all star game and call everyone fowards
Did you actually watch him play last night?!
My thoughts exactly.
It should have been only one minute of just the guys and then Shaq's full routine.
I've softened on Shaq a bit lately. I have to give him respect for being a relevant All-Star calibur player after 17 years in the league, and he does give back to the community at an above average level (and with more than an "I have to do this for work" at ude about it.)
I still hate how he, with the assistance of a media that lapped up his every word, degraded DRob for so long, and it pisses me off that he got his fourth ring on the flukiest Championship team ever.
I also don't like the whole "we talk for marketing" bit. While I buy that a lot of his statements are meant to sell the game, there's a reason I don't watch pro wrestling. I'm tired of sports coverage slowly declining into another gossip medium, and players like Shaq contribute to the problem.
The Shaq dance lasted 1:10. What the are you talking about?
He's just a bit slow...
you know my stance on this already Iron..i hope they NEVER bring his fatass back! buahha
Aliases, Nicknames, they're all good.
Kobe dissed the entire Franchise from the owner, GM, fans, all the way down to it's young new center but yet you still continued to support the team.
Yeah I can understand not liking the guy but to not want him on the team because of what he stands for or how he dissed Kobe and the Franchise is ridiculous. If Kobe, Phill, Dr. Buss are ok with it I don't see why the fans should not be. Basketball wise it makes great sense him coming off the bench to back up Bynum as long as he comes cheap. It's all about what makes us a better team and gives us a better chance to win it all.
Maybe some of us remembered how bad it went. Some Lakers fans forget that we lost to detroit when we had a stacked team, we forget we lost to the Spurs with Shaq and Kobe were together in 2003.
Why on earth would you want Shaq back. You think the problems wont come back..you think "tell me how my ass taste" wont linger on. Yes he "might" help (which i doubt), but why risk it. You want to be the phoenix suns of 2008.. Be #1, get shaq and implode.
2003 was stacked? Fox and Horry were horrible that year. How was 2003 stacked at all? That entire team was Shaq and Kobe. If Horry makes that shot in game 5, we might be talking 4-peat.
Iron..i said the Detroit year was stacked.
