I almost got picked for a jury once, I did enjoy the whole jury duty experience.

I got called up in December but I just sent in my slip with a copy of my school bill and never had to show up. Sucka.
I have reported once before but have never been picked. I hope I am selected.

I got as far as the attorney's bringing in their defendant and discussing what the case was going to be about. Robbery.

I served on a jury last year & we sent him up the river for 25.
i just make up some trauma i had relating to the case.
His attorney did not want me on that jury. It was obvious from the questions they asked that it was a dad trying to get custody of a 2 year old daughter from a woman to whom he was never married. She and the girl lived in San Antonio, and he wanted the kid and to move her away to where his family is. His claim was that it was bad that the girl went to day care while the mom worked and that if he had the girl, his parents would watch her during the day. I answered honestly that I felt that he had a much higher burden of proof than the mom did to convince me that a two year girl should be taken from her mother and moved away. His attorney did not want me anywhere near the case.
Being a student, I get released right away ....
Just show up to the jury selection and start yelling "Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!"
They might throw you out, but I guarantee you won't be picked.
