Yeah, he practiced yesterday, there has been ZERO mention of right ankle problems, team leaves on the trip yesterday for the game, and its just now coming out that he didn't go on the trip?

The fact that you are pulling that I am saying the Spurs would trade Manu for VC or Salmons out shows the problems you have comprehending.
    omigosh dude.....

I've got you in quotes saying the Spurs would trade Manu for Salmons.

    What more do you need?

    lol, dipsh1t.

Once again, never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. :
that's not true. I'm arguing with you and you haven't dragged me down to your level.

    moron.

He really needed another night off after being off about a week already? Talk about not caring about playoff seeding...
If there's anyone on this team who you should be extra-conservative with it's Manu. And honestly, shouldn't the Spurs be able to beat the knicks without him?

Quit being unreasonable FWD, he does not need to nor should he give any info.
It's unreasonable to ask for a source for something as substantial as a claim that this is a "phantom injury?"

I suppose I should have also believed those well-placed sources who insisted that David Robinson to the Knicks was a done deal a few years ago.

You people are looking way too much into it. Pop probably told him to take a little more time off and get healthy. It's just the Knicks and Pistons.

All I said was that if the Spurs were thinking of doing the VC or Salmons trade (one that DID NOT INCLUDE MANU IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM) that Manu getting hurt would not make them more urgent to do so.

If those trades were on the table (ONES THAT DO NOT INCLUDE MANU BEING TRADED) that they would probably do it.

Even when I explain, you still act like an idiot and cannot comprehend. Funny that you said guys like me need to be "flammed", ironic coming from a flamer.
alright calm down.....I'm just fukking with you.

you're still an idiot for wanting to trade Duncan for LBJ.

Manu wants in on the game huh?
After the Spurs go up by 25 midway thru the 2nd, DAntoni will try to squeeze in.

Even though it's the other ankle, it still scares me a bit that Manu keeps getting injured. I know we don't know what the injury is yet, but if it's been bothering him since before the break, I'd be at least somewhat concerned.

I can also see a trade for Carter or Salmons happening now that Ginobili could possibly be out for a while.
I don't see why Gino would effect that. If they were able to do a trade before for either one of those players, I am sure they probably would. I don't think Gino going down makes them more urgent to do something that could effect the team long term.
This is what I was responding to. This is the quote where you say I suggested Manu should be traded for VC? Does anyone else take that away from what I posted?

I really do not think Manu will get traded, but, the whole idea of him needing extra rest after the all-star break is pretty stupid...

I would have said the same thing about beating Toronto when we had all 3 of the "Big 3" intact and they were missing argueably their 2 best players. The Knicks are a better team than the Raptors...

I think were looking TOO MUCH into this, maybe he just really is hurt, or Pop believes this will benefit Manu a bit and beating NY, DET, and WAS wont be as tough without Manu or something. I hope to god we are not trading Manu.

Should have won that one. Still, this is a game the Spurs can win without him and Manu's health is way more important that one regular season game. Or two. Or three. Or however many games Pop feels he needs to sit Manu to have him at his peak come playoff time.

If his health is this unstable going into the 2nd half of the season, we really do need to make a trade. This is especially true if we are possibly concediing games and seedings to bank on health being the deciding factor in a playoff series.

No F'ing way do we trade Manu for VC and Williams. No way. Brook Lopez and VC then we can start to talk, but Willams, no way.

I wonder why no one is talking about the draft next year. There are a lot of teams capped out and struggling financially that have very good 1st round draft picks, why not buy one?

What i mean to say is its gotta be for VC and a BIG they got. Sean Williams is the first that came to mind besides Lopez. Lopez is thier new franchise Big.

Manu is a bench player. Vince is a starter. If NJ is stupid enough and they could make the salaries work, that alone is enough, imo.

I hope it is only a Minor injury. Sprus need a 100% healthy Manu for the playoffs.

I don't think at all that Manu will be traded but the timing of this injury is really odd. Trade deadline is only in 44h, I will just wait and see instead of making some wild speculations.

    LOL Brook Lopez..

the Nets wouldn't consider Manu for VC straight up, but they would give up a potential star big man? LOL..

Manu isn't as valuable to other teams..he's still a great SG, but he's old, and injury prone..

So much for that 'phantom' injury speculation.
