Props to TP for stepping up and sucking in Manu's absence.![]()
there's something good that will come out of this 2 losses to rastern teams with losing record. we have to go back to the basics- good defense. we're not gonna win in a shoot out with other teams.
Props to TP for stepping up and sucking in Manu's absence.![]()
Manu had little to do with this loss. I doubt our defense would have improved so much with him on the floor. I can give a pass to Mason and Hill, considering they're newcomers, but Parker and Bonner have no excuse. They've been long enough to get lit up like that.
second straight game where the opposing pg goes nuts on us.
This loss is pretty much on TP, hopefully he bounces back for the rest of trip.
Get healthy Manu. Go Spurs.
True, but they shouldn't have needed Manu to beat the Knicks.
Nuggets are now 2nd![]()
damn that is all i have to say about this game, timmy had a beast game though, and nate robinson small bas
True... lol @ those who wanna trade him, we can't even beat the ing knicks without him... pathetic.
well enjoy that for a couple of days
We defeated this team without Tony and Manu this season....It's just pathetic....We should be able to win the Knicks without Manu.
Yeah, but having TP out there tonight had a negative effect. It probably would have been better had TP not played he was that awful.
The loss just puts more pressure on Ginobili to return earlier.
Wasted games by Manu against the Raps and now wasted game by Duncan against the in' Knicks.

I smell it comin'
just saw the score. didn't watch the game due to class. things that stand out when i see the box score is:
duncan: 7 TO
Parker: 5-20 FG
KT: 6-7 FG !
sigh.. loss to the knicks is demoralizing. duncan had a great game statistically but turned the ball over too much. mason didn't shoot at a high percentage spurs needed him to in order to compensate for parker and ginobili. with ginobili out, parker needed to play at full strength to help duncan out. but that didn't happen. george hill also seemed largely invisible.
Now Denver is the second best team in the west...Oh man, oh man....Toronto and Knicks are two easy teams, and we screw it up...just pathetic!
Yeah, bad marks all around...makes me optimistic in thinking the Spurs just had an overall off night shooting and moving. But the defense was SO bad. Ball rotation, inside help, NATE ROBINSON getting in the lane and making plays. I don't think the Spurs wanted this one badly at all and are still in cruise control against bad teams. Some semi-positive thinking, but it looked awful out there. Manu would've saved the game, but the demeanor from everyone else is horrific.
We definitely could have used manu in the last 3.1 seconds of regulation.. drive to the baket and draw a foul at least.. TD shooting a contested bank shot maybe not the best play in that situation..
Where is Timvp and Kori? They drop some lines in the Manu thread and then take off.
we could have used Manu, obviously..nothing to do with the last shot, it was a good look for Duncan..
having Manu would have made our D better, and gave us another option, since Tony was so horrible..
, Manu couldn't come thru on his last-shot opportunity versus the Raptors. Don't know if his ankle was troubling him then or not. They should've lined up Mason for a three in both games. At this point, I'd rather he take the last shot in those situations.
no duncan no tony no manu=lose
Simply put, Nate Robinson killed us tonight. Duncan was definitely the player to keep us in the game for a while but in the end, Nate was too late, dude was on fire tonight.
yah im still finley didnt hit that shot he had vs the raptors
