    I hate to say it,but it might be true. But you cant just measured it because of the Knicks game,its only one game. But if Mason,Bonner and Hill step up, it might be true...Last time I checked when Mason and Bonner alive in the game, we beat Lakers...I wouldnt care for Big 3 because they will deliver for sure, I just worried about Mason,Bonner and Hill...

    What a lame ass thread. How much time do these laker bandwagoners waste coming SPURStalk just to talk trash and back it up with lets see....nothing. Manu was out, parker played like , and NY actually played a bit of defense..why? because thats what teams try to do when the Spurs come to their homes...try their best in order to keep up with the BEST!!     So the Spurs already have wins against the so-called top teams in the league, Boston and the Lakers...what else is there to prove? Nothing. Because unlike the Lakers, the Spurs aren't concerned with the #1 seed in the West. The Lakers had the #1 seed in the West last year and look where that got them.

    Several things here. First off, "The Spurs are not match?" where did we learn English? I guess Laker fans worry more about basketball and less about their education. And if losing one game makes us average, let's see...Lakers have losses to Indiana, Charlotte, Sacramento, Detroit..oh..and the Spurs. Don't be stupid. Yes..the Lakers are very talented, but if you're going to say we're not going anywhere because of one loss to a lesser team, your Lakers aren't going anywhere either. And for that matter, no one would. Anyone can lose to any team on any given night. What matters is the playoffs, and lately, (this decade)we've got more championships than you, pal. So why don't you stick with the Lakers forums where you can get your rocks off by building your Lakers up to be the best team in history, when truthfully, you couldn't tie the shoelaces of the '95-'96 Bulls. I can see the Spurs, even with the team we have right now, without a trade, taking out your Lakers in 7. Take off the purple and gold sunglasses and open your eyes.

    the Lakers are better than us right now, everybody knows that..why do Laker fans keep making threads about it? we already admit it without Laker fans saying anything..

    the LA fanbase is by far the most insecure fanbase in sports, it's ridiculous..

    I've never seen such a y group of fans when their core hasn't won anything, and their future franchise player is a walking injury..add to that, their star player chokes in EVERY finals he's ever been in, including one of the worst choke jobs of all-time in 2004..

    I wouldn't expect more from a fanbase that idolizes a rapist..

And it would be equally nice if Spurs fans pipe down on on the smacktalk about how the lakers aren't this, the lakers aren't that...the lakers are 7-8 games in front of the Spurs; the Lakers have the best record in basketball, they are better teram than the Spurs....so we need to move beyond the inferiority complex! I don't care about the Lakers-I care about the Spurs and it's not looking good if Manu is done for the season. though I believe in Pop so I'm sure the Spurs will muddle through somehow!

    I live in LA so I'm around this constantly.....one of the columnist of the local indie weekly made an observation about Lakers fan......he's not a fan& he doesn't necessarily hate the team per se-it's the fan base that makes him not like them...he said that some of them can be so obnoxious in the love & support of their team.....his words, not mine! Though I would argue that you can make the same case for hardcore fans of any team........we live in glass houses Spurs fans so we shouldn't throw stones!
