This didn't happen in the last year or so.
So, since Hill joined the Spurs, what has he done wrong?
It appears absolutely nothing.
The only thing that has happened in the last year is this girl posting those pics which may not be real.
Maybe they wouldn't have drafted him if they had known this, but he didn't do anything wrong since he's been on the team. In fact if it was this important to him, then they should have included this as a question: Have you had any embarassing pics which some crazy exgf #$#$# might possibly post in the future? Since they didn't ask the question {pretty sure they didn't}, then it's their own fault. They should have asked ahead of time if it was this $#$$ important to them.
Kind of hard to trade him and get mad at him now when he hasn't done anything wrong as a member of the team.
It would be very difficult to justify logically. Even if you say, we would not have drafted him had we known that his girlfriend might release some old pics of him for revenge.
Should the girl who did this be rewarded since her goal was to hurt George?
Is this how you make basketball decisions? If the pic had been taken during the time that he has been on the Spurs, then I can see the point.
But since that's not the case, deciding to get mad at him and trade him afterwards doesn't make any sense.
It's ludacris really.
Hopefully, you all didn't think about the fact that George hasn't done anything wrong since he's been a Spur and after considering that don't believe that Pop would look to trade him.
Unless they are getting a big time player (a VC or Richard Jefferson), then I don't think that it makes any sense to trade Hill (certainly not for this).
He is clearly the best back up point guard that we have ever had. Apologies to Speedy Claxton.

At this point the issue is still just a rumor. I'm going with jayc23 on this in that even if true this happened quite a while ago. I'm assuming (yeah I know what that word also means) that since GH and his fiance have been together for some time that even if true this qualifies as a "youthful indiscretion".
So far my impression has been that of a young and maturing man who is thoughtful and dedicated to his profession. If proven wrong then he would be a lock in politics upon retirement.
Actually, it's amazing how much stuff is kept under wraps throughout professional sports- Spurs included.
That's sort of the point in my earlier post. Even if true, it's nothing compared to a lot of the stuff we don't hear about.
This ain't a Cabinet appointment or the Boy Scouts or the Glee Club.
And he didn't have that pic while on the Spurs team.

Agreed. I can't see that happening though. Maybe he gets an uncomfortable meeting with management but unless this is something that happened during his time with the Spurs I don't see what else needs to be done.
I for one am really ing sick of leaked private photos becoming big news.

If we seriously get rid of the only young talent this team has brought in since 2003 season because some spiteful posted pictures of him on the internet then this ing team deserves everything that will happen from it.
Bad enough the FO s us on bringing in new talent for half a decade, if they want to keep up this hardcore discipline bull , they will be ing the franchise even more.

Best thing an intelligent, pragmatic FO could do when their second best player is out for the season is trade their only young talent for something of lesser value.
