The Cavaliers have offered Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to the Suns for Shaquille O'Neal, according to sources close to Brian Windhorst.
Such a trade works under the salary cap rules but would not, by itself, bring the Suns below the luxury tax threshold this year or next.
According to ESPN, this deal has been discussed but is a long ways away from being completed and is described as unlikely.

it will end up being Wally and Sasha, Ferry is just lowballing the Suns right now becuase he knows how desperate they are to move Shaq's contract. That is why there hasn't been much movement, around the deadline he will offer Wally and it will be a done deal

+1 last i heard suns didnt want wallace and wanted cavs to throw in wally for the deal to get done.....

because we are going to take another player from the Suns too. Probably Barbosa or whatever other young talent you have there
Sarver f'ed the Suns organization. He never wanted to pay for a bench and would trade draft picks, etc....could have had Nate Robinson, Rondo or Rudy, dumping Kurt Thomas and rolling with Brian Skinner
If the Cavs can really get him for Wally of course they would do that. ing Suns better not screw everyone over by making this trade.
