I just spoke to someone with the Spurs and was told no press conference is scheduled, but he seemed kind of hesistant to answer me. He said if a press conference was going to happend, they would send out something to media outlets to let them know.
I checked KSAT 12 site and Spurs.com and neither are reporting anything about a press
conference for later today....
I read the original posters thread and he's not sure he heard right because of his kid..

Maybe the Spurs want to announce they extended Manu's contract?

Trade deadline has passed, but you only have to have trades submitted by the deadline. Trades are still coming in.
Yeah. I don't think it would be about an injury. It would definitely happen if it was something more serious, like a disease, or retirement.
Maybe they just have faith in him...
My guess is that there's no official press conference. It's just a follow up to Pop saying to McDonald that they'd tell about Manu's health before the game. So, they are probably just referencing that Pop will answer during the routine pre-game press question and answer session prior to the game.
