two annoying es(by i mean women and not actual ) and the loser from 4 years ago.
I'm pretty sure that either one of those candidates would be better than our indicted/crook of a mayor.

I'm voting for Julian. Trish is a nutcase and Diane is a , and my city council person. Aside from mess with my speeding on Vance Jackson and stop the train noise she hasn't done for me.
lol, that is so freakin ironic. That article states that local politicians want nothing to do with him, and for good reason. Our Mayor, Sheila Dixon was all butt-hurt when Obama stopped here in route to DC and acknowledged every other state politician but her. And on top of that he acknowledged every other mayor in the other cities he stopped off at .But in saying that, it's probably not such a good idea to turn over city contracts to a company that just happens to be your sister's.
It wouldn't matter if John McCain was mayor, San Antonio is beyond ed up.
Can never vote for "Councilman NO" Julian Castro. That guyu is power hungry and a political slime. He was deceptive when his twin brother was on the river float.
CiBrian wants to eliminate strip clubs. I don't frequent them (haven't been to one in 6+ years) but to try to get rid of the simply b/c you personally don't like them is ridiculous. I don't like bars, but you wouldn't see me trying to get rid of them.
I'd then vote for DeBerry by default, but she hasn't impressed me from the time I've seen her on KABB or KSAT.
Funny how all candidates want to spend more money on fire & police yet "Give me my raise while you cutback" City Manager wants to cut back fire & police.
That one right there is enough to get me get out a big red marker and write 'F No, S bag' on the ballot.
That said, I don't like the other two choices.

Is it any wonder Hardberger gave Scully a new contract that virtually assures she continues to run the city (which the city manager basically does anyway)
I did find Cibrian's ad last night about anti strip clubs to be funny. I truly hate her and will do whatever I can to assure she doesnt win. She just annoys the living out of me. I'd rather Thornton come back over her.
i dunno, but they all have in common....guaranteed alot of and promises, once elected they turn a blind eye on their supporters, and this lavish life style at the expense of public tax payers......

i still find it kinda funny that the mayor of this city draws no salary.

Is that seriously the only reason you are not voting for him? That's beyond stupid. That was just a mix-up. I've met him, his brother, and mother on several occasions for work (my boss grew up with them on the westside and is very close to the family) and have nothing bad to say about them..not slimy at all (aside from the slicked back hair).
Julian Castro reminds me of a young Henry Cisneros.
