I guarantee you Money Mason will make big shots on the playoffs. that is not even a question. Dude is cold blodded
There has been alot of mentioning of RMJ in trade talks here and in the media. Along with that there has been some debating here at ST about who would be more expendible for the Spurs between him and Hill.
I like Roger Mason. I think he helps this team. But for those of you that think he's gonna be a great 2 guard in the league... Let me remind you that
He's a poor defender
He can't finish at the rim
And he hasn't had the chance to prove himself in the playoffs yet
What if he Hedo Turkoglus all over us in the playoffs?
I guarantee you Money Mason will make big shots on the playoffs. that is not even a question. Dude is cold blodded
He's not turkish like that Hedo motha a. He's a straight up G from DC.
Why, he's the second coming, don't you know that? We should be exalting that the Spurs didn't land Vince Carter for him and that rookie scrub who dropped his drawers on film.
It's a little late for this.
he's a ing role player, he does what he should do..
his D has fallen off significantly, but he's already proven he can be a good enough defender..it's tough adjusting to a system after you played with the Wizards, who are always bad defensively..
I've never heard anybody expect him to be a great SG..
if there's one thing we've learned about Mason, it's that he has huge balls..making big shots won't be a concern..
Hedo had a couple of game winners durning the season for the Spurs too...
One in indiana I remember vividly bc I thought... Spurs couldn't bring back SJax but maybe the Spurs are gonna be ok with this guy
Then he disappeared in the POs
He most definitely has his flaws (very avg ball handler, poor finisher at the rim, average defender) but he fits very well in this system. He alone is not enough, but everyone healthy plus him increases the Spurs chances to beat anyone.
The dude has been the most clutch player in the NBA this season.
Trust me, when spurs are down 2 in game 7 of the finals, Money Mase will be there.
He better be great if the Spurs didn't trade him for VC
So lets sit around and instead?
Fuwk yeah muthafuwka.
Hedo was actually useful defensively. Had his market price been closer to $20 than $40 I think the Spurs would've kept him.
This is a forum isn't it?
People here were so dissapointed when the Spurs couldn't make the Barry for JR Smith deal happen.
I don't see how this is much different.
Exactly.
Of course, it'll make everything much better.
Still am.
But ing about it does nothing.
Well not everyone here thinks that the FO reads the threads and will magicaly appease us by what we write.
Most of us normal people use the forum for just that. A place to talk and spurs.
Whatever.
Roger Mason $3,500,000 $3,780,000
For that money, he is a steal !!!
doesnt he have like 9+ ppg in the playoffs? be it coming off the bench too
