It's been difficult transition for us going instantly from 6 ECF appearances to mediocrity. It's so easy to get spoiled and comfortable with winning.
It just ain't the same without Billups. You guys are still a tough team to go against but, as a Spurs fan I sure wish CB was still a Piston. Now we have to face him more times and most likely in the playoffs. He has made Denver a solid contender.

What a pathetic and booooriing game, typical spurm game, low scoring, inefficent offensive game.

The Pistons have lost 5 in a row, they are struggling big times and the pathetic spurms were lucky to win this horrid game.

Iverson made circles around the french skunk.

    You are Pathetic and lame!

    Pistons Head Coach Michael Curry

(On Tim Duncan) “He’s incredible. I know a lot of times people talk about San Antonio basketball as a boring game of basketball but I love basketball and I love the way they play. I can watch them play all the time, just the way he comes out every night.”

    Nice quote. Thanks for posting.

After the craziness of the past couple of days it was nice to watch Duncan tonight. Kind of rights the ship a little bit. It takes a team to win, but if Duncan is healthy and playing well I always feel our chances are better.

Lucky escape for the Spurs.. Still a WIN none-the-less. They couldn't have got the job done with-out their role players. Maybe Tim and Tony will show up on offense next game.

George Hill was on a mission. He was all over AI with his on-ball D. . It sure was fun to watch AI scrambling to get away from Hill with no success. Showed how useful he his on the defensive end with Tony often getting burnt by AI. Wish Pop would utilise him more.

Do you realize that they were the 2 best scorers of the team.
They scored 37 of the Spurs 83 points.
Besides TD had 18 reb and TP 11 ast.

Hill was great on AI for defense. He is still learning the tricks of these guys but his length and speed bothered AI a lot. I am sure glad we have this kid. He is developing fast.

Going by top scorer stat would disort the true story. Did you catch this stat? A combined 14 of 39 on FG's For Tim and Tone. While rest of team 17 of 37 inlcuding 50 percent on threes.

If you watched the same game as me . You would of noticed Tim and Tony trashing it up and missing shots they normally make.

It was a defensive game, a low % and scoring game... And again TD had a season high 18 reb and TP had 11 ast.
Matt Bonner IIRC scored 3 points in 2nd half.
TD & TP didn't have a great night, but they carried the team... That was ugly but they won.
Without Manu, the team is not the same. They need time to adapt.

Most of this we on the same page except that they carried the team . On offense they simply didn't. Sure, they contributed in other ways but the role players deserve credit for stepping up against a tough Piston's defense.

Me expressing maybe Tim and Tony will show up on offense next game is my sarcastic way of saying i expect them to do better. With-out Manu's scoring, the spurs can't afford to have both having off shooting nights.

Hill was great (needed more minutes). Bowen was solid. Hairston was amazing (needed more minutes).

This far into the season and Bonner is still playing well: I think he's officially over his issues. He may not be quick or athletic, but he's playing decent D.

Oh, and all those times AI fell... yeah, he tripped over Hill's .
I'm all for double digit Hairston minutes, but how was he so amazing in 4 and a half minutes? Was his D super awesome or something?
