Hairston played as much as I wanted him to, so I'm good.

Is it me or is that bench without manu becoming more defensive minded.I mean it knows it cant score much so it locks down on D. I have seen it in the last two games.

I know it was against the struggling Pistons and the Wizards but holding teams to 79 and 67 is a good way to end the RRT.

Those losses against the Raps and Knicks were inexcusable and Manu being out hurts.

But this is our team and Manu will be back.

Lets get ready for some SPAM!

    Go Spurs.

So, a 5-3 RRT including the forfeit to Denver, win in Boston, and two losses to poor teams (Raps, Knicks). Interesting.
it's amazing. we could have easily gone undefeated in the RRT. all our losses were close games in this trip. Successful road trip, except Manu getting hurt.

RRT sucked, 5 - 3 and could have very easily been 7-1.

We need to remember if Jax have made that shot and Mason 3 was not in at Boston we could be 3-5

This should have been an 8-0 RRT. Gave away the Denver game by sitting the Big 3, Toronto made some BS shots, New York made some BS shots. We could be a 40-14 team right now.

I really doubt that we could have done that, though I would have loved it! 7-1 maybe or 6-2 but not 8-0. Denver was going to be a tough game considering the OT in GS, it being a B2B and Manu was legitimately banged up. I really thought we should have won in Toronto and NY but the Boston and Detroit games were close and could have gone the other way.

All in all, though I would have liked a better W/L record, I felt that the Spurs made some strides on this trip. Seems that the second group is starting to hold it's own and the last two games saw some of the old Spurs D. Now that Manu is out other players will get more PT and this could be a blessing in disguise, just like it was at the beginning of the season with the development of Mason and Hill. When Manu comes back we should be in good shape reaady to go into the POs. Hopefully Manu gets 7 -10 games to get back into game shape prior to the POs starting.

Nice to see a blowout for a change...even if it was against the hapless Wizards...5-3 RRT and just a couple of shots away from 7-1...all in all, not bad...especially with Manu out. It's gonna be great to get back home...I hope we crush the Mavs on Tuesday night.

    GO SPURS GO!!!!!
