Im rooting for Denver but i have a feeling Boston is going to kill them
I'll say they're the third best team in the west when they decide to show up to play. That's the problem with Denver... they could be really good if they really tried. The injury to Nene is going to be a problem for them if he doesn't heal by the time the playoffs roll around.
And FWIW, I think whoever draws Denver in the playoffs has a MAJOR chance to move to the second round. Yes, that includes Dallas.
Im rooting for Denver but i have a feeling Boston is going to kill them
Denver is a solid playoff team. But no contender.
I'd say third best and I'm humongously surprised by that. 4th best if Utah's 100% healthy. I've always considered Carmelo worthless and I thought Nene was done for two years ago. As they share the NW, I'm really, really pissed that Chauncey would make this much of a difference. They're not even close to being contenders though.
Utah's better than Denver when fully healthy.
If Denver gets home-court advantage against Utah, the Jazz ain't winning .
...
After probably the worst officiated game for the rockets this year, in Cleveland, Yao was so ticked off he said to the Cavs, "See you in Houston."
I doubt Nene is playing...C's roll to victory
That's like asking if it matters to you if you care if you are ahead of Orlando in the playoffs. Dumb question. If you could be a higher seed, why wouldn't you want to be?
Denver with Chauncey Billups actually impresses me somewhat. I think they can give a team a good run in the first round or beat anyone not named the Spurs or Lakers
Oh- it wasn't poorly officiated, the better team won. I remember it perfectly. Yao choked under pressure
I don't think the West is going to come down to who has home court in the Houston/Denver series
Melo has to have an All-Star night.
All the talk is about Billups but Melo's putting up a very quiet 22 points and 8 rebounds per game.
I hope the Nuggets beat the snot out of the Celtics.
Me too. Boston's annoying as , the OKC Thunder would be a playoff team if they set and got away with as many illegal screens as Boston.
The refs were impregnated with lebrons baby since they were all over his . And Tim Donaghy was no where near the arena. Terrible officiating, and they only lost by 9. This time Lebron won't get away with the "crab" dribble
Just one of many lebron travels:
a video from 2004 to explain why the Rockets down their leg in 2008?
You asked if we, as Rocket fans, cared. Why wouldn't we? the rest of the west. Maybe Denver/Houston does win the west. The playoffs happen for a reason. If you're so sure that neither is going to win, and everything is going to happen based on what you've seen so far, why don't we just hand the trophy to the Lakers now?
I would just have the Spurs/Lakers play and the Celtics/Cavs play 7 game series and have it be done with- I would love to
if you really feel that way, no need to troll on this thread. Don't even get the rest of us started on the Joke about Amare going to Cleveland you heard from some poster on another forum...
Did they call that?!?!?! WTF LOL he only dribbled twice during that whole stretch. O well it was a nice windmill and it would have sucked more if it didn't count
ok. sorry
