how do you feel about trading alston for lowry?
Serious question. Have you seen this team play since they got rid of Tracy and Rafer?
how do you feel about trading alston for lowry?
He probably saw them beat the Mavericks and wasn't impressed with JET not playing and Dirk having the worst game of the season.
We played horrible, gave up 22 turnovers, were without Tracie, Landry, had a new starting and backup point, but still pulled out the victory so find another excuse.
Rocket fans propping T-Mac in one argument and belittling him in another is pathetic.
Serious answerrrrrr.........no.
But I prefer to live in my land of denial where the Rockets and Mavericks will perennially under perform and ultimately, if they make the playoffs, choke it away.
Then again, it's up to the Rockets and Mavericks to prove that denial is unwarranted.
Not me, I think he is a piece of , but wanted to show you how weak making excuses was.
Fair enough, but stay tuned I think we may surprise you.
All said, I still don't want to play the Rockets in the playoffs because Yao is a giant.
This is a joke, you are bringing in the absense of Jet, who won't be back this season for a team that lost both their starting guards and played their first game like that.
You do realize that the last game the mavs won in Houston wasn't just because of Jet even though he was on fire right? It was because a 6'6" D League level Power Forward was starting at C
I like the mavs but that is a pitiful excuse, even when they had Jet they were an 8 or 7 seed.
Mavs will finish with a higher seed than the Rockets. Just look at the remaining schedules, it's not as farfetch'd as it currently sounds.
As for the Rockets since T-QUit shut it down and Rafer was traded. What? a TWO game sample? Nobody should draw conclusions from a 2 game sample, and yes the Mavs were without JET, a pretty significant deal. Not to say they would've won the game, but it's a2 game sample, both games at home, and one against a team without its 2nd best mutha in player.
And why the do Mav fans even think that excuse is going to fly?
Your damn backup PG had the game of his life......how often is that going to happen?
Houston was without Carl Landry also, first game without Rafer Alston and with Lowry....reason for all the turnovers. Also if you expect Houston to give a flying about your injured midget guard cry on someone else's shoulder....this is Houston we're talking about, the team that's always injured and has to deal with more injuries than any other team over the last couple of seasons. Nobody ever felt sorry for us and WE DON'T GIVE A ABOUT JET BEING INJURED...TELL SOMEBODY ELSE ABOUT IT....that is all.![]()
You said I was using an excuse by using an excuse yourself> ok.
You damn sure do considering he finds numerous ways to stick his down the Rocket's throats everytime he plays them. Remember the 05 series?
Yeah I do remember the 05 series......I remember your ass owner got scared of a upset so he ran like a little and complained to the commish's office. After that Houston wasn't allowed to run their offense.....then the little jackass wants to complain, because his team stopped getting calls in the Miami series.....it's called karma, he got what he deserved and I laugh everytime I hear somebody complain about the officiating in that series.
No , you re ed got. Moving screens set by big goofy s like Yao Ming are not allowed.
Refs = 40 point gap. mutha in gotcha.
Hey, at least they had that nice dunk on Shawn Bradley.
Nope, but if they didn't take away our screens the series probably would've been over in 6 games or less "mutha a".
I don't know what's so hard to understand about moving screens are illegal.
Agree to disagree
You know what else if funny, these Mav fans want to say "oh know here come the 94/95 championships", but then want to always bring up a series that was 4 years ago against a Rockets team that...
A. had a different coach
and
B. About the only player that's still on the team is Yao.
What they won't tell you about that series is how Houston were HUGE underdogs (this was a team with Yao and Tmac, and basically nothing else....I mean John Barry, Juwon Howard, and David Wesley...pah leeze) and the Mavs almost blew it.
The screens weren't illegal, those type of screens are set in the NBA every single night. We were able to set them after that series and magically they were legal....go figure.
Tim Donaghy reffed/betted on that series
