Spurstalk parents: Spring cookout?

I like taking my family to the central SA park (the one with the zoo) and will probably try to do a cookout some weekend in the spring before it gets too hot.

Any interest out there for a ST parents/other getogether?

There will be Shiner or beer of some sort. Have to figure out what is allowed by the park first tho'. I imagine it will have to be either cans, a VERY small party keg, or BYO.

I think so.

I am not 100% familiar with SA, and would personally be more comfortable having it in the nice little park here in San Marcos, but since most of y'all live in SA, and I like that park, it would be better for all involved if it were someplace closer to the majority of people.

Pretty much.

My liver swelled up on me a few years back because of the sauce and I pretty much ignored it. This time, a few months back, my liver swelled so much that it caused my pancreas to swell up too. The pain was unbelievable.

I stopped drinking and the pain pretty much went away.

I wonder if over time you can get back to just enjoying a few beers so long as you don't over do it. That's tough friend....I'll keep you in my non-prayers.
