Anyone good with designing a blogger site?

I downloaded the template I want for my blogger account but I don't know what to do to get it to perform like a template issued by blogger.com.

Does it have a zip file? Open it up and read the directions. Most likely there's some code attached (xml) that you'll just need to copy and paste in the template thing on blogger.

I did that. The new template is up. It's just that some things aren't functioning properly and I don't know coding.
