I'd like to see us go younger. Unless we could sign 'Sheed on the short and cheap. Would he play hard all the time though?

I don't think this is a good idea. One for the age reason, and also there are a lot more people we should sign before him, like Sheed.

If we sign someone like Sheed or Camby it would be as a starter. McDyess would still be valuable coming off the bench, it would be an upgrade over Oberto/Bonner on that role.

camby, sheed and mcdyess would be nice, but the spurs need to begin to look toward the future. i kinda thought they would do that this off-season, but not really. they drafted hill and got mason, but i expected more.

in nba 2k9, i'm doing a franchise mode with the wizards, and the spurs traded mason and thomas for ryan gomes in the season. i think somebody like gomes would be great! the wolves would probly ask for quite a bit more for him, but that would be the kind of pick-up i'd like to see.

i love the spurs and not to sound like everybody else, but age really will catch up to them. it's not really affecting them right now because they're still talented enough, but where will they be 2 years from now...

We will re-build when Duncan retires. In the meantime, I'll take a veteran like McDyess capable of playing 25 mins giving 8 pts, 8 rebounds and play solid D.
