Although there is a very small percentage of Californians that do not like the lakers most will pull for them in the finals because of their california roots. I have a friend who came out here when he was 15 years old from the east coast. He was a piston fan and he does not like the lakers either but he is what I call a bandwagon fan. His team is whatever team beats the lakers. My question to the california fans that are now Spurs fans, how long have you been Spurs fans? If you became fans in 2003 or later, you're bandwagon fans. Out of all the teams to choose, you chose the Spurs? The Spurs were a pretty boring team and have been for years. They participated in some of the ugliest basketball in the history of the NBA finals. Tim Duncan, a great player but not one of the most graceful players to ever suit up. He's a big whinner and a serial molester. So my question, What exactly attracted to you the spurs?

BTW he's the most graceful player in the NBA. Care for a dictionary or does raping white girls (or buying a 10 mil dollar diamond ring to shut your wife) account for grace.
c'mon, it was more exciting than that. Shaq was possibly the most dominant player ever and he was doing things never done before. Kobe was spectacular, Magic's Lakers were entertaining and they won les. What is there not to like about the lakers?

Well Kobe didn't rape anybody and was cleared of any wrong doing. Timmie never was held accountable for his actions.

I was a huge tim duncan fan when he was in wake forest so naturally i became a spurs fan when he was drafted. I actually have hated the lakers much longer than I have supported the spurs. I hated them back when cedric ceballos was their best player. I just hate everything that y franchise stands for and the fact that most of my friends are laker fans who dont know about bball. I pretty much became a diehard spurs fan when timmy destroyed the lakers in 99. Add to the fact that manu is my favorite player now, pretty much means i love the spurs.

Ok, i respect that! I must add that the Lakers franchise is the greatest franchise in the world, without LA the NBA would have folded years ago.
