cool hand's les usually exceed his posts in length and these are typically very short, usually just a few words and he seldom unpacks it.
It sharpens the juxtaposition of le and subject, but at the price of overall coherence. His minimalism in threads is so extreme it verges on nihilism despite the cp-usa logo.
cool hand often sounds cryptic or mysterious. He rolls up the communicative flaw of reticence into a hacky -- if comfortingly familiar -- conceit: clowning the coin-op psychic. From time to time it works well for him and for us. But the past master of this method would appear to be ducks.

That was a very long way to say that coolhand is practically obliged by his aesthetic method to overload his les since his posts are so short. Not that that excuses his profanity but it might explain it.
We all curse more or less freely in the threads, why the hangup about les? Is this the new version of the ST gameface, or something like that?
WH23 will oblige nevertheless but expresses curiosity at the concern expressed for decency.
I understand that the forum indexes are our public face, but this is a "free ranging discussion that occasionally touches on mature topics" as SG would say.
What's the big deal?
There is something about the "you s" locution that just reaches out and grabs you.

Personally, I could give two s, but at the same time and on multiple occasions, Kori and timvp have explicitly asked people not to do it. Now I'm not trying to slurp Kori and timvp or be a forum cop, but they own this forum, it's free, they allow us A TON of lexicographical freedom (more than any other forum I've been to). And if they don't want people swearing in the thread les, whatever the reason may be, I think it would be best if people adhered. I really don't get the motivation of the poster who keeps doing it over and over and over, though he's explicitly been told not to. It's not funny, it's gy.
I think the tradeoff is more than fair: keep the les clean.
I have zero problem with that reality principle if we can possibly keep it.
Obviously, gratuitous profanity in the les might endanger the mature understanding we enjoy right now, and this forum be thenceforth overrun by squadrons of gaywad Mods riding herd.

Of course I have and of course many will. That is what I fear. The ones who are lazy, irresponsible, kept down already by the government so they know no better, and the ones who are brainwashed into feeling guilty for achieving success will love it. Not to mention the corrupt politicians who will make millions from it all and enjoy raising their noses towards people in business who actually earn their income.
A nation dependent on the Federal Government giving them free reign to steal and continue to bury this nation under liberal policy social expenses in exchange for coins, fake paper, and rationed health care. That will be America and I am disgusted by any citizen who is for it.

Do not fall into the fairy tale of believing the government has your best interests at heart. They want the power and control. That's it. It's easy to see once you start looking at the aftermath of the policies they pass in addition to their agendas. Not words, not speeches.

im pretty sure most of them politicians have a vested interest in the stimulus package, a majority of them own shares in big company's eyeing for the tendor of these so called rebuilding projects. Hence if i aint gettin a piece of the pie, i aint voting for that ....
and when you delay such packages and alot of jobs start to be cut, just look at the opposition bags playing the smear campaigns against the govt for slow reactions. Seriously they should put their egos aside and start with the rebuilding process, b4 they make fools of themselves and lose their jobs in the next seat election
I doubt it homeslice. I can outrun most and not worry about the bear.
