We're all right here. I, though, am planning on taking a few hours off this afternoon to rape your mother and set her ablaze in a garbage dumpster.

Yeah Mavs fans are just as bad as Laker fans. Ask this Memphis Mavs fan above.
This is your first post in this thread. Tell me how, exactly, you were talking about the "actual teams".

even then they can hardly sell out a CF game.
Wow. Are Mav fans this brain dead? How many times does it have to repeated before you understand? TicketMaster screwed up, saying the game was sold out days before meaning people couldn't buy tickets even though it wasn't.

    Partly true.

Dallas has the Cowboys playing the first 3 months of the season. No one gives a about the Mavs or the stars during football season.
SA has nothing but spurs basketball, even then they can hardly sell out a CF game.
That could be a money thing, tickets are expensive. At least everyone is watching them. I lived in Dallas for 6 years. They have the most bandwagon fans that I have ever met.

They are into it for entertainment value, not for basketball. That is not a bad thing, but explains this dip.

That's the lower bowl, though, and we all know how fickle those people can be. The real fans are up in the nosebleeds and the Mavericks have accommodated by lowering or keeping prices low so that these seats have butts in them.

You're right about the lower bowl folk, but that can be said for a number of arenas around the NBA. They're largely bags (except for me, of course).

I was speaking in generalities of course, but there are some very good Mav fans. They do a great job in Dallas of entertainment at the games and if there were more serious fans, it would probably be the best arena in the NBA overall.

I have said that the Spurs are heading the opposite direction if they keep raising their prices. They will drive the "true fan" out of the arena and into the home. The tv viewing won't dip (probably increase) but the attendance and atmosphere in the arena will suffer.

Mav fans in general don't care to watch the average game or if they cannot attend live, they have better things to do. Same with the Rangers and Stars.

Games I have attended so far this year I have paid $10 and $2 per ticket. Upper level, but courtside with a perfect view of bowl goals.

Cuban knows where the money is. Once you get fans inside, they will be more likely to spend $10 a person on food/drink, more than that if they are drinking beer.
