LeBron James throws powder sky high.
Tim Duncan always grabs the ball with both hands, turns his hands 180 degrees in almost crossed-arm fashion and holds it under his chin.
I've noticed Mike Finley rubs his feet on the mat, bows his head while rubbing his hands together, claps twice and then kisses the back of each wrist.
What are some of the strange or curious rituals that you have noticed NBA players must do before each game?

Duncan is most known for the ball hug but he also hangs on the rim.

bavetta's pregame warmups are hilarious
I'll never forget the scene before Game 4 of the Seattle series in 2002, the night the Spurs played without Tim, who was in St. Croix after his father's death. Malik Rose started in Tim's place and did the ball hug thing as a tribute to Timmy; the Express-News got a picture of it and ran it on the front page. For a fan who closely follows a team, it was a sure sign of their unity, I guess. But it struck me as really very moving.
It was very moving. I guess it can happen with any team, but the Spurs 'brotherhood' has always impressed me. They've always really seemed to like and respect each other, even through all the cast changes.
I thought I had the pic but I'm not finding it. Anyone have it?
Ian Mahinmi always goes and sits behind the bench in a suit.

Manu fixes his hair behind his ears too much
TP do not have a look to the hot chicks that are trying kissing his ass.
KG kopies Lebron with the powder stuff...damn those youngsters!
Ehhh..KG's been doing that for years. I say it's the other way around.
Bruce Bowen throws towels at Sean Elliott and plays with the camera.
I've noticed several rituals when it's free throws time.
Kidd send a kiss to the rim.
Rip bounces the ball to his right side, I think.
Manu makes a phantom throw with his left hand.
How about Mason's slap on his own butt after he makes a three. Wonder what's behind that?
that was the joke
I think I skrewed it!

A few old Supers ions threads for the fun of it. They tend to come out in the Playoffs.

Not pre-game, but Tim goes down the lane after his first of two free throw and grabs the ball. Funny thing, is I noticed during an Orlando game Hedo Turkoglu seemed to be messing with his rhythm by grabbing the ball first.
I also like Rip Hamilton's "side bounce" while shooting free throws.
dwight howard has that ritual of slammning over people time and time again!
I like to dream Tim and I spend time together before he plays.
