That might have been true in the past but after last season that argument does not hold water.
My question to you is, if you're a fan of the game and you want to see it played the right way, how can you not like the Spurs? As much as I watch Spurs games with the opponent team commentating, most of them say that the Spurs play the game the right way.
How can you play the game the wrong way and be the winning team in all sports in the past decade? (rhetorical question) So they must be doing something right.

if you really want to keep it real, you should only count the championships that you were actually alive to see. it doesn't get any more bandwagon than bragging about all the championships that your team won when most of them happened before you were even born.
c'mon, thats your rebuttal? what would it be "if" they win the championship this year or next year? would "spurs playing the game the right way" be true again? since the lakers haven't won a championship since 2003, are they playing the game the right way?
IMO, spurs are like the 49ers with montana and rice. they come in, take care of business and leave all that arrogant showboating at the door.
i don't want all teams to have the characteristics of the spurs cause that would be boring. but you gotta respect a persons favorite team... even if its in a different state.

I do respect them, I don't like them but I respect them and their accomplishments in the league. I take a shot at them every chance I get though.

the Spurs were the better team.......the Lakers got lucky on a miracle shot
when i got into bball, drob just got drafted and i would watch him and the spurs. thats like the 100th person that said they're a spurs fan cause of drob. he's a class act. you can't say anything negative about him and he represents the spurs. i honestly don't find them boring. they may be not as exciting as other teams but they're not boring.
