GLENN BECK, HOST: Switch gears for a second — kind of. On Friday's show, we took a look at some of the worst-case scenarios and I am getting — oh, I would say, a lot of heat for it. Oh, my gosh, what a fear-monger that Glenn Beck is! Oh, he's just after Barack Obama!
You know what? I don't know when it became un-American to say, "Save for a rainy day," or you know, why don't you just — why don't we just prepare for the worst and hope for the best, or make sure you're wearing clean underpants in case you're in an accident, but that's a different story.
People in America just can't seem to get away from politics. The fact is that I said these things while George Bush was president and in office and I'll say them again while President Obama is in office. We are headed for really troubled times unless we wake up.
Socialism is one. In fact, it's not just finance. If you want to see what our future looks like, you — all you have to do is look to Europe, because we are following their pattern. They are a few years ahead of us when it comes to socialism and I think they're also a few years ahead of us when it comes to shutting down free speech.
With me now is a Dutch lawmaker, Geert Wilders. He is facing jail time now in the Netherlands for his viewpoints on Islam. He's also just been barred from entering Great Britain to attend a screening of his new film.
Good to see you, again, sir. How are you are, sir?
GEERT WILDERS, DUTCH LAWMAKER BARRED FROM U.K.: Good to see you, Glenn. It's a pleasure to be on your show.
BECK: How surprised were you that you couldn't go into the United Kingdom?
WILDERS: Well, I'm very surprised. I really thought that the United Kingdom was a democracy with freedom of speech high on the agenda. I was — one month before, in December of last year — a guest of the House of Lords, preparing the visit and the showing of "Fitna" and nobody banned me at that time. And then, a few days before I went to the United Kingdom, I got a letter delivered by the U.K. ambassador in the Hague saying that I would not be welcomed because of my views on Islam and my short film "Fitna," I would threaten community harmony — whatever it means — and therefore, public security.
And I thought by myself, well, this is very wrong. So, I just take a plane and let them send me back if they have the guts doing it. Unfortunately, they did.
BECK: They did. But you're here in America now. Did you have a hard time getting in?
WILDERS: Well, the good news is, that I had a very easy time to enter the United States, thanks to your immigration officers.
BECK: Oh, yes.
WILDERS: I was feeling welcome.
(CROSSTALK)
BECK: We let anybody in. Just coming to the back door!
WILDERS: Yes.
BECK: I just have to give you this quote and get your thoughts — oh, there are my glasses. "The fact that in Mohammedan Law, every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property either as a child, a wife, or concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men."
Pretty outrageous stuff.
WILDERS: Yes.
BECK: You didn't say that, though.
WILDERS: I didn't say that, no.
BECK: No. Winston Churchill said that.
WILDERS: Yes. And Winston Churchill, as a matter of fact, in a book in the '50s also made a comparison, like Oriana Fallaci in Italy but also Winston Churchill, the comparison between Mein Kampf and the Koran. One of the reasons that I'm being prosecuted, I don't remember Winston Churchill who got a Nobel Prize for this book and really would have been prosecuted.
And I have nothing against people. I have nothing against Muslims. But my point is, that the Islam is a totalitarian ideology that should be compared not so much with other religions but with other totalitarian ideologies — like communism or fascism.
And if I would have been allowed to enter the United Kingdom and I would have gone to the House of Lords, I would have reminded them to one of the giants of America who spoke there in 1982, this was President Reagan, and President Reagan in the House of Lords while warning for communism said that if history teaches us anything, it teaches us that self-delusion in the face of unpleasant facts is folly.
And, of course, he was talking about communism, but what he meant is that we cannot escape — we cannot escape from totalitarian ideologies that want to destroy us.
Well, the totalitarian ideology that wants our freedom today, unfortunately, is the Islam. And we should stand up and fight it.
BECK: OK. Your country has been radically changed. And it's really through political correctness. I mean, I disagree with you on Islam. I know Muslims that are good people.
WILDERS: Yes. I have nothing against Muslims. It's the ideology.
BECK: Yes, right — as it's used for control purposes.
WILDERS: Exactly.
BECK: But I just want to show America this and I don't even know if this shows — on television here in the United States, we had somebody — can I have a little more than 30 seconds? We had somebody on television or that was running a television station, just a couple of weeks ago, behead somebody in an honor killing.
WILDERS: Yes.
BECK: And then in England, where you're not allowed to say anything, they have an anti-Christmas message. The queen gives a Christmas message. And I just want to play a little bit of the other side, I guess, for fairness against Christmas.
The other side, this is — do we have the video? This is the video of the other side. We don't have it? We reload it. There it is.
They have Ahmadinejad give the anti-Christmas message in the United Kingdom! That's insanity!
WILDERS: Yes. They had Ahmadinejad in the United Kingdom. They had people shouting "Hamas, Hamas" and all the Jews have to be guests in the center of London. They have Al Qaeda affiliates as guests from Lord Ahmed in the House of Lords a few years ago. They had pop music bands in December last year who are shouting music that gays should be killed. They have the most terrible things.
And one guy, like myself, is standing up and saying, this is wrong. We have to defend freedom of speech and warn against the totalitarian ideology of the Islam and I am being banned. I'm here today, Glenn, this week in the United States and to really learn from you.
What I want to propose is a European kind of "First Amendment." I want all the hate speech laws that are only used against us to be to be abolished in Europe. And let us come with a first — European first kind of amendments and learn from the freedom of speech that you Americans have.
BECK: Well, we are — we take it for granted. I don't think people really understand it here.
WILDERS: Yes.

In Europe they think nothing of jailing people for promoting various beliefs deemed dangerous to public order, and in England in particular I've been given to understand that surveillance is well nigh universal and administrative detention, legion. Their scrape with nazism and more recently with terrorism has made them intolerant of extremists and people mistaken for dangerous extremists.
On the whole, I'm glad I'm over here.
Europe also had hundreds of years of religious hatred and religious wars. There is a reason why they have laws against religious hate speech.
Warning: the violence in Geert Wilders's Fitna is extreme and could hardly be more startling and graphic.
The beheading of Eugene Armstrong is represented in grisly and lingering detail.
The blast and immediate aftermath one of the 2004 Madrid bombings is straight up shown on videotape.
Graphic representations of violence pervade the piece and are too numerous to catalogue briefly.
It's bloody to the max. Geert Wilders would be up there with Tarentino if he had half the brain. But he doesn't. And WH23 doesn't have all that high of an opinion of QT.
Children and sensitive listeners should definitely tune out at this time.

I urge everyone who cherishes free speech and thought to support the INTERNATIONAL FREE SPEECH SOCIETY who are working to support Wilder, alos Call Arizona Senator Kyle and thank him for allowing Geert Wilder to speak.

Meh, whatever paltry number of white Europeans remain, given their aversion to reproduction of late, will just convert when the Muslims press the issue, except for the 50 or so leftover Christians who will become loyal dhimmis.

Founder of Islamic TV station accused of beheading wife

NEW YORK (CNN) -- The founder of an Islamic television station in upstate New York aimed at countering Muslim stereotypes has confessed to beheading his wife, authorities said.
Muzzammil Hassan was charged with second-degree murder after police found the decapitated body of his wife, Aasiya Hassan, at the Bridges TV station in the Buffalo suburb of Orchard Park, said Andrew Benz, Orchard Park's police chief.
Hassan was arrested Thursday.
His wife filed for divorce January 6, and police had responded to several domestic violence calls at the couple's home, Benz said.
Hassan went directly to the police station after his wife's death and confessed to killing her, Benz told CNN. Benz declined to give further details.
Attempts to reach an attorney for Hassan were unsuccessful, and his family didn't return calls from CNN.
He had two children, 4 and 6, with his wife. He had two other children, 17 and 18, from his previous marriage.
He launched Bridges TV, billed as the first English-language cable channel targeting Muslims inside the United States, in 2004. At the time, Hassan said he hoped the network would balance negative portrayals of Muslims following the attacks of September 11, 2001.
The station's staff is "deeply shocked and saddened by the murder of Aasiya Hassan and the subsequent arrest of Muzzammil Hassan," a statement from Bridges TV said.
"Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to the families of the victim," the statement said
.

Oh it's probablly not germane to you, but I think it's hilarious that one of the self described moderate muslims who we are trying not to alienate, and who is fighting American's "stereotypes" goes home and murder's his wife whose only crime is she threatens the islamic padagrim of women as chattel, but I'm sure it's not germane to you.You can knock on deaf man's door forever.
It's not like Islam is peculiar in its paternalism. Women were legally speaking chattels in Texas until about 1973. Could not sign for a house, a bank account, a car without husband or father countersigning for it. Consider that. You should be cheering on Islam for bringing traditional values back.
Is Islam alone or even con uous among world reilgions for teaching submission to husbands? If you're pissed at Muslims over this, you must not have heard that some Christians and Jews practice it too.

Further, (it is alleged) I have trivialized and insulted them by comparing their plight to that of women in Texas 30-40 years ago.
In micca's account WH23 is also obscurely burdened with facilitating a insult to the honor of all women. I am not exactly sure how it was accomplished, but the verdict was sudden, and there it lies. WH23 is a big honking sexist. He must be.
micca's solicitude for the rights of woman is formidable and touching, but WH23 can thinks he can withstand the hit.
I respectfully disagree. The Texas ladies can judge for themselves to what degree I'm a sexist..
