Lakers will win on kobe freethrows. Every possesion is going to be kobe isolations except if Gasol is left wide open.

Amare is so stupid he makes himself a non factor.
Go ahead and sit your leading scorer and see how you do.

Kobe with 49? No wonder they're losing. I missed 90% of the game but I'm guessing lakers didn't play team ball which is why they're underperforming.

The Lakers simply didn't play to their strengths today and deserved to lose. Good job PHX, you finally won one against the Lakeshow.

I could say the refs were BS again today, but ultimately that didn't decide the game. It was poor offensive execution that did the Lakers in yet again. When LO goes down with early foul trouble the team is limited to playing Kobe basketball, which we all know is a losing proposition in the long run.

Phil Jackson needs to get back to the drawing board. I certainly did not see any triangle offense run tonight. Just a lot of ISO sets for Kobe. Reminded me of '06 all over again.

If the Lakers sit Kobe they would suck. The Suns sucked before that sat Amare. This is just one game, but you guys wasnt making the playoffs with or without Amare... you get my point?
Throw in porter;s system and I'll agree.

Like I said before, it's a good thing BOS and CLE are losing games as well right now. The Lakers can keep their #1 record and think about why they sucked these past two games.

It would be nice, but I consider it a miracle any time they do anything right without him in the game.

I don't think the Laker team has the ability to think.

When Kobe sets out to go for huge numbers the Lakers always lose. As a Laker fan, going from Magic to Kobe is like chewing glass.
    +1

And I thought Kobe admired Magic when growing up

He admired him so much that when Magic advised Kobe to go out and have a drink with the guys to build comaraderie, Kobe said, "Thats the most stupid thing anyone has ever told me."

Kobe will go down as one of the top 5 greatest scorers, but he will never be remembered as a great leader because he never learned how to follow.
Yeah, Kobe was a loner back then (maybe still is); when asked why he wouldn't go out with his teammates, he answer was: " why would I do that? there is no reason "
