9 fouls called against the Spurs. 4 for the Blazers.

Yeah it is.
nothing more pathetic than Hill stat padding, he should be doing this when the game is at hand.
Pops and Hairston are +3! They start and play the whole game we win by three tonight.
Instead, we lose by 20!![]()
Manu wouldn't have made any diff. The Blazers are the better team in every way.
come back soon manu. we need some fire.
Welp... thats 2 games in a row our starters get blown out but at least our bench is competing.
no Pops = no win
it's just that simple
i wonder how many tie breakers we hold over Western Conference playoff teams.
Do we have any? Dallas is the only team I can think of and maybe Phoenix?
haha i love roy but this is the first time ive heard him talk.
he sounds like he graduated from the shawn marion school of post game interviews.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this team. If Manu played tonight he would have easily scored 75 and this wouldn't be a blowout. And thank god the Spurs stopped being a defense-oriented team. That got old. This style is so much better. The Spurs are exactly where they want to be as a team and are still capable of beating any team on any night. Except for those nights when they play bad on purpose. This is obviously another one of those games. There's no ing way in the Spurs won't win the championship. It's an odd numbered year.

I really cannot imagine this being the Spurs we see in the playoffs. It didn't even look like the starters were trying. I'm not gonna fret too much. The only thing I take from this is that Portland is a team I do not want to see in Round One, or any round for that matter.
For tonight!
One game.....
The Blazers deserved credit for shooting light outs and their role players played better at home.
The Spurs will still beat the Blazers in a 7 game series!
Two games in a row where the best part of the game is when the bechwarmers start cutting into the loss margin.
"bechwarmers start cutting into the loss margin."
... against the winners' benchwarmers. BFD
Here is my prediction for our starting lineup in the playoffs:
C Thomas
F Duncan
F Bowen
G Finley
G Parker
Good win. LaMarcus and Brandon came to play.
I could live with that, assuming Fin isn't awful.
I've mentioned it numerious times in the game thread tonight, but do you guys remember the last time we had a more offense and less defense approach.
I'm thinking 2001 season when we were absolutely embarrassed by the Lakers in the playoffs. Straight after than season Pop signed Bowen and we became a defense first team.
With out defense could guys like Bonner and Mason Jr go Steve Smith in the playoffs? Right now Roger is looking kinda like Steve Smith in that he's a jump shooter only that isn't playing much defense. If you ask me Roger has regressed on defense. Is Pop getting on him too hard and yanking him too early the last few games?
I really think we need to just get back to defense first, maybe start Bruce again.
Very good win. I'll give you props if you don't go talking that is
Absolutely kicked our asses.
Nah! They came to... I can't think of it but it's something really insulting about them!!
boston and la also got creamed today. cleveland is following suit. meh.
Ehh, I don't care much about this loss. It is worth noting that this is only our 2nd game where we lost because we didn't come out and play. January 16 at Philadelphia was our other loss that happened just because we didn't try. All other losses were because we didn't make our shots and the other team did.
