NAFTA coordinated the regional economic bloc. Since that's de facto, further elaborations in this vein are only to be expected.
We need to draw Mexico and Canada a little closer, the better to pick their pockets for the big North American revival, is my theory. And Canada has like (PFA) 80% of the world's potable water, so that's a big plus.

People like to make moutains out of molehills, and this website is a good example. The guys (and it is invariably male) that push these theories do so because it suits their egos to be some sort of rebel, fighting the good fight, and seeing "the big picture".
The reality is that the world is chaotic, and humans aren't quite as organized as to be able to form vast, multi-generational secret conspiracies.
If you understood humans at all you would know it is very possible. There is such a varying degree of humanity's capabilities in the entire spectrum of our species that almost anything is possible. How can you argue this? When you constantly push for more and more political correctness to squander honest debate; when you continue to dumb down the public schools and water down the history taught to the children, when you fill universities with professors teaching their ideologies, after decades you begin to see the effects as the puzzle pieces start moving together.

In fairness, no such claim was made. It may be reasonably inferred for one or two posters. I see only smug foreknowledge and grim forboding in the thread so far. No actual predictions.
Name one monarchy/empire that survived for more than a few generations without some dipwad becoming king/emporer that was emporer simply because of birthright.
Or for that matter, name one organization around today that was around 300 years ago in any form that more than vaguely resembles what the organization looked like at it's inception.

They could probably avoid a whole bunch grief by distilling the name of the currency to be called, simply, "The American Dollar" - no "North", "Union" or "United" or anything else.
It's a private mint. There were shut down for a bit by the gov for misleading people that it was actually new US coinage. Private mints make all kinds of coins or 'medallions' or bullion. I'm sure they've made a killing. Their prices are ridiculous.
