every single year there will be new excuses for losing...EVERY SINGLE YEAR...what happened in 06 then? who got lucky by winning 4 straight after down two games?..was it Miami or someone else? in addition to that,by the way better team IS NOT the one who record historical BIGGEST UPSET IN NBA HISTORY: 1st place LOSING from 8th PLACE TEAM IN BEST OF SEVEN FORMAT...I still remembered the ESPN headline news..previously there was one 1st seed losing from 8th seed but that was back in the days when the playoff format is not best of seven. Kidd,Stackhouse Jason Terry,Nowitzki is not getting any younger either..i think Dallas become a very old team..but I have to admit Brandon Bass is good, the boy is the energy for Dallas.
This year Dallas is nothing compared to Spurs....last time they played who won it?? i hope they meet in playoffs but it will be hard since Dallas barely make playoffs ..that tell another story who is better team...if Spurs meet Dallas in playoff, who do you think will win,based on fact not

One week ago today, I watched from the AT&T nosebleeds as Tony Parker personnally destroyed the mavies without the help of Mr. Duncan and Mr. Ginobili. The thread starter needs to shut his stinking pie hole until the mavs actually accomplish something.

The mavies are so 2006 - they still needed Bavetta and Joey Crawford to bail them out then.

Finally, little Markie Cuban discovered he has hired some dogs for his basketball team. They once again failed against an undermanned team yesterday. Just give it up. The championship window is now cemented shut with nothing to show for it. HA! HA! HA! Maybe in ten years they will do something, but I doubt it.

Markie C. should just dive head first into the San Antonio river and make some dreams come true for many San Antonians. Then the mavies might have a chance to succeed.

I have an idea for the Mavs. Trade Dirk for a 1st and 2nd round draft pick. Trade Howard for anything that you can get. Do not go to Mavs games for 2 years so Cuban will give up and sell the team. Welcome your new owner with open arms and then maybe after you rebuild. Your not winning with your team now. Your not GOING to win with this team in the future. The reason isn't even because the Spurs have better players. The reason is because Cuban is dumber than Jerry Jones runs his team like an idiot and his wonderful stats he created aren't worth a crap.

The bottom line is say what you want about the Spurs however they have at least PRODUCED RESULTS. The Mavs crumpled several times and just don't have what it takes. I know your pain I grew up with the Spurs in the 80's I saw the hard years I saw us have good players but just not enough. Release the hate and embrace a new owner time to move on.
