What do you think of signing Luther Head too?

Okay, its pretty official we got Gooden, and he's probably going to take Pops roster spot.

What about signing Luther Head, He's 6-3 185, he's got more experience than George Hill, He can play multiple positions like PG and SG, He plays tough Defense, He's more athletic than Vaughn or Udoka he can actually dunk the ball, and what the spurs like most in a player not named Duncan He can shoot 3's good.

So I say we should sign him, I think his versatility and 3 point shooting can help the spurs much more than vaugh and udoka.

So waive vaughn, since he does nothing, and Head fill his spot for the rest of this year and maybe next.

First of all..

#1. Luther Head is not a point guard, I don't understand why other fans always think this. The guy has no handles, no passing skills, and if he tries to do either it's a T.O. waiting to happen. All he is, is a 3pt shooting S.G. with no other skills trapped in a P.G.'s body.

#2. I don't think I've ever seen Luther dunk a basketball in game.....I'm sure he can, but he won't so what's the point talking about it.

#3. and most importantly.....Luther already signed with the Heat.

I said, I've never seen him dunk in a game.....I guess I missed that game. All in all he probably has maybe like 2 or 3 career in game dunks, counting that one. I never said he couldn't dunk, but if a guy only has a couple of in game dunks in his entire career, what's the point even talking about it?

It was reported on ESPN Coast 2 Coast by Chris Broussard that Luther Head is going to the Heat.

Agent: Head chooses Miami

Luther Head, the combo guard who was recently bought out by the Houston Rockets, will sign with the Miami Heat, according to his agent.

Head will sign once he clears waivers Wednesday morning. He was courted by Dallas, New Jersey, Charlotte, Milwaukee and San Antonio but chose Miami because of the chance for playing time, the opportunity to make a nice playoff run and the possibility of staying with the Heat over the long haul.

Head averaged 4.8 points and 1.6 assists in 22 games with the Rockets this season.
